Wordpress.com - how do you get one of their hosted blogs deleted...?

Hello fellow BHers...

I had been doing some research last night on google and found some peoples blogs that were promoting commercial businesses. I simply wrote them an email saying that their blog was at risk of being deleted by wp and that I wanted to save them from having that happen to them. Well they stated that my message was untrue and predatory.. BULLSH** How would I go about getting this little buggers blog axed? Any suggestions? Greatly appreciated.

so actually you need suggestions now on how to enforce and support your statements (and acting predatory in the process to spice up things for a change). all following an unsolicited e-mail. funny!

It sounds like the OP is saying he found some commercial sites being hosted on wordpress.com and he was emailing them to let them know that that was against wordpress.com TOS and WP could delete their blog without notice so he wanted to offer them a service of moving their blog to a self-hosted WP or other means as a way to make money.

If this is what the OP was saying he would be correct as you can not create a site and host it on wordpress.com that makes money. Ex. no paypal allowed or other monetization, etc.

If this being the case, then instead of trying to attack those blogs I would simply move on to new potential clients, however, copy/paste the part of wordpress.com TOS that says they can not monetize their site there and then offer to help them to relocate to a self-hosted WP or to blogger.com. Don't waste your time (time=money) with people who didn't like your first email (attempt to direct market) and simply learn from the mistake and move on.

If we don't make mistakes, we can't learn. And if we didn't have this forum, we wouldn't learn or be helped as much as we are.

What is wrong with this for you? Don't you have other things to do instead of trying to delete those blogs?

LOL, what's wrong is he was trying to scare them into doing business with him.

OP. You might want to change your approach, when you email them expound the benefits of moving the site to self hosting and mix in the fact that they could get deleted by Wordpress by having a commercial blog. Keep it friendly and professional, and you will get a better response.

If you really want them deleted then throw the link into scrapebox or xrumer and spam the shit out of that link. I tested it on my own personal wordpress site to see what would happen and found out it caused it to violate the TOS for spamming lol. So if you want them gone then find someone with ScrapeBox(me) to spam the link until all hell breaks loose lol. It only takes about 3-5 days just depending on how much is sent out with that link.

There is mine that was suspended as proof lol.

You can just report them to WP.

The person won't know who reported it - their blog will just get suspended and that will be that.

See if you can register Wpadministrator(dot)com and find more suckers..
