Forum Scraper to Convert Threads to Blog Posts?

Does anyone know of a forum scraper that will convert the content to a blog post and comments?

I have one that does it for Yahoo Answers- it takes the question and makes that the post and then the answers become comments.

I would love to be able to go into a forum, select a thread, and then convert the first post ot the forum into a blog post and the other posts as comments.

I have searched and searched for this to no avail so any comments will be greatly appreciated!

Could you tell us what is the tool that you are currently using - any sales page for that?

well you can get hold onto the autoblog wordpress plugin, then go search for the forums you want to scrape, most forums have rss enabled. take the rss of the forum and autoblog..

i guess this is easy way..

or

you can get a script like boardreader.com, none is available on the market that i know of. i have a professionally built a script which scraps forums..

I'm using Caffeinated Content at hxxp://ka*nsie*o.com. He just released a new version that will pull up to 1000 questions (old one only pulled 50 at a time) each time and you can now pull YouTube videos as well. Price is good at $47 but he says he's going to raise it. Crappy sales page but good product. Search in this forum for other posts on this product.

One note- there is a bug in the links part where it gives you the option of converting all of the comment authors into links (can slip in list of all your URLs this way- pretty slick). If you don't do anything, the program will add the sample links test file to the author. All you have to do is add a blank links text file (or substitute your own) to fix this.
