How To Get More Traffic?

Sorry for the newb question, but I have a couple of auto-blogs about a month or so old, and not really getting much traffic at all. I'm indexed by G, few hundred pages indexed, have submitted about half a dozen bookmarks for each on the top bookmarking sites, but I'm only getting about 25 visits/day/blog. Needless to say, Adsense earning is really non-existent for that kind of traffic. I also used RSS Submit on both. Is there something obvious that I'm missing here? Thanks for the help.

The more links you have the higher search engines will rank your pages so just keep building links, not all to the main domain but to your sub pages that you want to rank. Answer questions on yahoo answers, find a relevant wiki if you can, comment on other blogs, exchange links from other blogs, link wheels, forums, banners, web 2.0, twitter, facebook, bebo etc etc

Understood, but isn't the point of auto-blogs to setup and forget? If I'm going to go through a link building campaign, shouldn't it be to a better site than an autoblog?

Another bit of info that you may find useful is article marketing. Take each one of those blog posts and drop it in ezinearticles.com making sure to retain the original source info with links going back to your blog. Use your main keyword as anchor text.

Then rinse and repeat for any other article sites you see.

The idea is to set and forget but if you do a bit of promo it does pay off.

If you have a ton of autoblogs you can start interlinking them, linkwheels etc dont really take that long to do if you are using senuke, using onlywire and a plugin will let you auto bookmark too...

You might want to take a look at blogslammer.com for the autolinking plugin (reads the rss of a site and posts links on your wpmu blogs.. check the threads on this forum)

Google will ban you from adsence.

Twitter is great if you spend time building up a good amount of followers, then simply auto post to twitter and use tweetlater in order to automaticlly promote your older posts

Thanks for the tips, I will look into blogslammer.

Maybe if there's someone out there who is earning $1/day (from Adsense/CPA, not CS) could post some tips that would be really helpful to newbies like me. Thanks a lot everyone for the responses.
