whats your take on the latest version? is it really readable once rewrited?

It should be. Just like with any automated software, it has glitches, but the newer version helps against copyscape.

Uniquefier does work, but you're not going to get traffic from search engine. I tried this for 2 weeks, my indexed pages from 200 to 1000 pages, but no traffic at all. It's just waste of time.

I played with this a bit in an older version. My biggest complaint was that broke down badly on WP themes that only showed an excerpt on the main page, basically the urlencoded bits just got truncated and all you got was a list of garbled characters.

From what I understand is that there has been huge improvements from v3.0 to v3.3 to fix the WP issues.

In regards to traffic. This doesn't bring you traffic, just changes your auto-blogging to unique articles, you still have to market your blog.

the purpose of rewriting your autoblog articles, is to get indexed for a specific keyword and not suffering dup content penalties. so in the end the purpose is getting search engine traffic. uniquefier sucks big time because it adds random html carachters to your posts that makes the post look the same but it different. but there's a problem, search engines dont only index the text you see after the rewrite, they index everything and in the end the posts wont be ranked for the keywords you want because google cant find those keywords on your blog... i havent tried their new version, but if the principle they use is the same, then its COMPLETELY useless... just my 2 cents on this

I tried this plugin 6 months back on a well established autoblog getting 1000+ visitors a day..

Within a week of enabling it my traffic cut in half.

Within two weeks most traffic stopped.

I disabled the plugin and my traffic came back.. Google does not like this plugin..

Not recommended at all.

Use a rewrite plugin if anything.

well google don't like the unifiquer because it's escaping the ascii codes ( I say on other thread of revit about it ... ) ... it's practically like cloacking .... the content ''rewriten '' by this plugin make it '' not readable '' by spiders ...

It's a plugin for you to use with your WP blogs. So no it doesn't work with ezines...

And from what i've read, the feedback for this plugin doesn't seem that good...

Uniquefier v3.3 has been on 20% of my blogs for weeks and I've watched traffic die on these same blogs..... waste of time and money for me..This guy should be taken out and beat for wasting peoples time, traffic, and money. This plugin is a scam/borderline scam. I already wrote on other occasion about this plugin.

What it does is translate content into javascript and it CLAIMS that it makes content "unique". Fact is that only copyscape can be foooled (or at least could be fooled a year ago or so)...but Google and any other search engine DO see the content.

So, the fact that copyscape thinks a content is unique does NOT mean that Google also thinks the content is unique.

But it comes worse:

One of of my countless blogs i had this shit/scam plugin installed "for testing".
What happens is that if i go to the blog now i get a big POPUP

"Please update WP uniquefier plugin to the latest version!!"

In other words: It announces to every spider and visitor that you use WP uniquefier with a BIG popup on the front page.

SUPRISE...the whole fvcking blog is now de-indexed from Google.

Fact: Making content unique <--- NONSENSE, it doesnt matter whether you translate content to javascript or whatever method. Its NOT unique in Google's eyes. You can use other dupe checks (besides copyscape) because copyscape sucks for testing dupe content. All this plugin does is prove how bad copyscape is. A few lines simple PHP code are enough.

Damnit, i just paid for this. :-/ ahh well only $15

how about wp unique? I think both of them do the same thing

I think wp-unique is a word replacer... it doesn't re-write the entire post it just replaces some of the words... its a good combo with wp-robot, use the language translation from wp-robot and then wp-unique to replace some of the words
