Default Blacklinkspro - A Big Question

Will Backlinkspro only work to develope back links back to the domain of the blog it's hosted on, or can you use it to develope backlinks to any URL you like while still having it hosted on an otherwise not involved blog, or a blog that only operates as a host and location for other people's links?

This seems very important. I'm sorry if it's covered elsewhere already, I searched for a few minutes and may have passed right over it unitentionally. It happens....

Thanks,
GOY

I believe it only works for wordpress sites, although I could be totally wrong. I am also interested to know as well.

I believe that falls outside of the scope of how it's setup to function. You could ASK in your email to link to a different site I suppose, but doesn't seem too likely (in other words, why wouldn't the request come directly from the site that is trying to get the backlink?) Hope that helps.

Hummm, well not a tool I can use then. Really very unfortunate that it has such a narrow scope of usage because it would be ideal otherwise. If I actually believed in profitable autoblogs, I'd be all over it. I've yet to actually see one work however for anything more than being a link juice machine.

BUT - if you are someone who can crank out the autoblog money, talk about a perfect fit.

Perhaps narrow in a sense, however, the key is to fine tune your targeting methods to make it all work.

I think I get what you are say - it's not a master control box from which to build back links to all of your sites from one point. Even if such a master link building device existed you would still have to customize every single facet/parameter for it to be effective. AND if there was such a master BLP box, it would be greatly limited on a single "normal" host as it would top out quickly in the email sending department.

I'm not sure it needed a counter point.

The fact is, if it's limited to only build links to WP sites than it won't work for a massive segment of the market. The work around would be to install WP on every website I have, in a subdirectory. I'd rather not have to load down my VPS by having an autoblog running on every single site I have.... well, at that point I couldn't use my VPS in it's current configuration anyways so it's immaterial.

I'm not shit talking the product at all. I'm just calling it how it is. I really like the idea... a lot. It's just like an Olympic athlete that's missing a leg if what we are assuming to be true is true. It's an unfortunate waste of extreme talent (performance and value) for many, many of us. If all of your websites are based on WP, then this is Gold but an attitude of superiority over those with more diverse CMS spreads is unwarranted (not saying you had one xhanuman - just want to nip it in the bud of others).

I'll be taking this to the specific forum for the product and hopefully Diamond Dave can correct our misconception if it's untrue, which I hope it is untrue. I'd love to buy and use such a product without being limited to strictly one CMS, or forced have have a specific CMS on every site I own.

If a mod would move the thread that would be awesome.

You just have the have WP installed somewhere on your site. It doesn't have to be the main structure of your website.

I tried to copy and paste the quote or the permalink but for the life of me it would not work. However it is post 14 of the "Re: Presales Questions" thread.

If you don't have to have a running blog, that may be an option then...

You can use it to build backlinks to ANY of your other sites and those sites don't have to be blogs. They should be related though to the niche you are targeting.

For example lets say you have a fishblog.com and then a fishsite.com

You would post your partner links on fishblog.com and then ask that the link partner place his links on fishsite.com

Thank you, both for the answer and moving the thread to the appropriate board

I think I'm sold.
