I'm not sure it needed a counter point.
The fact is, if it's limited to only build links to WP sites than it won't work for a massive segment of the market. The work around would be to install WP on every website I have, in a subdirectory. I'd rather not have to load down my VPS by having an autoblog running on every single site I have.... well, at that point I couldn't use my VPS in it's current configuration anyways so it's immaterial.
I'm not shit talking the product at all. I'm just calling it how it is. I really like the idea... a lot. It's just like an Olympic athlete that's missing a leg if what we are assuming to be true is true. It's an unfortunate waste of extreme talent (performance and value) for many, many of us. If all of your websites are based on WP, then this is Gold but an attitude of superiority over those with more diverse CMS spreads is unwarranted (not saying you had one xhanuman - just want to nip it in the bud of others).
I'll be taking this to the specific forum for the product and hopefully Diamond Dave can correct our misconception if it's untrue, which I hope it is untrue. I'd love to buy and use such a product without being limited to strictly one CMS, or forced have have a specific CMS on every site I own.
If a mod would move the thread that would be awesome.
