BHW blocked my ip? WTH this is MESSED UP~!

WTF?
I'm not banned on BHW or anything.
But, whenever I try to visit BHW I can't it just says the page contains no data.
BUT,
when I enter thorugh a proxy, seriously, ANY proxy, I can logon and everything FINE.
What's going on?
I remember reading that someone else here had the same problem

PLEASE HELP!

some bad guy probably had your ip before you at some point

Try now, if not we need an ip to check things.

well harro already fixed you up but assuming you have a dynamic IP (which you probably do) someone who did something bad on BHW had your IP leased to them before it was leased to you by your ISP.

Could be possible that Mods recently banned a range of IP's due to someone spamming or something and you got caught. Maybe why Harro was able to fix so fast?

I tried loading the page in IE, Firefox, Safari, but nothing

EVERY SINGLE OTHER PAGE on the web loads FINE, just bhw...?

Well Harro wasn't able to fix it yet so that's not the case I didn't do any "spamming"

This happened to me yesterday also Harro. What did is call my isp which told me to call my router, we did all these tests and the only thing we could figure out is that it was my IP. So I redid my router completley and bingo, new ip = bhw works.

Weird?

Maybe some retard had the IP before you did, or it could just be on your end.

Are you in the USA or some where else like China or whatever? Because I've read that China (and others?) are blocking many sites...

But delete all of your cookies and all private data, except for your passwords if you ahve them saved.. and change your IP. Then come back and see if you can log back in normally.

I can't send messages very well through this proxy, so this should do.

I'm from Canada, and I have tried clearing all my firefox data, still nothing.

You should't gove your IP out freely on the web ;O
But HaRRo can see you IP anyways, there is this "IP" button Super Mods and Administrators can see

Oh rly? Well thank got I left Windows Firewall, Adadaware, and Avast On access protection Home Antivirus on ^_^

And those of you who think this is an antivirus issue, its not, or else I would've gotten a warning when I visited BHW for a malicious site (but of course it's not

This happened to me on Wednesday. I was sitting in a Panera Bread and attempted to log in while waiting for a client and It said my I.P. had been banned. I just sent an email to the admin and later that day when I got home I logged in just fine with no issues. Very weird though. I almost couldn't imagine living with out my BHW lol.

The ip you provided or the whole range IS NOT! banned at all
So i see this not a problem at our end. Try getting a new ip on your router this might fix it.

Unless that is not your ip, i cant see how its our setup because its not.

It is definately the IP, and resetting the router DOES fix the problem. I did this yesterday and its working fine

Not sure whats causing the problem though.

I had this happen for a few days last week - going through my socks proxies and it worked fine.

All sorted itself out in the end - I put it down to my ISP having a brain fart.

I've had this problem for the last couple of months. It lasts for a few days and then it allows me back. Since I've had my IP's for about six years now I doubt that's the problem. I didn't reset my router. (the only time my computer gets turned off is when I switch out a new power unit). So far haven't been banned this week but it's about time for it...
