    I just phoned plimus at about 2:20 am and the guy sounded like he was so tired he was going to pass out. Try calling 24 hour support in the wee hours of the night, you'll get a kick out of it, trust me. It sounded like he just got out of bed and at the end i think he dropped the phone as i heard a rough crack. Funny
    Try to keep them on the phone by asking useless questions and asking questions about another company's services. LOL

    What can i say? I think that everyone has the impression i phoned just to piss someone off. That's wrong, i was asking if they could still receive paypal payments and he had no idea so i decided to phone the next day when their support staff were at least half awake. Then i proceeded to make this thread because i had nothing else to do for the night as i hadn't gotten my answer. Like my sig says, "I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it."

    I'm sorry mate... But having worked in the call centre industry for 5 years and witnessing first-hand the difficulties of doing the graveyard shift, I'm gonna have to agree with the others that that wasn't a very nice thing to do. These people don't enjoy the same luxury as we do-- they gotta do those shifts to pay the bills. There are matrix systems involved in that industry, and by asking all those useless questions, you probably knocked his AHT (Average Handling Time) through the roof-- thereby probably affecting his pay.

    Pardon me, I'm having a rough day. But oh well, whatever makes you happy.

    I agree about the graveyard shift. My dear son worked a short stint with a renowned call center (4 months -- all in that graveyard shift). Well, he had to take 100 calls in 9 hours. Imagine talking for 8 to 9 hours to complete your daily duty! He always complained of sore throat and total exhaustion...

    I got him out of there and he is now enjoying life earning online... more than ever before. Guess no one makes a joke out of such people who are working hard even at night to make you sleep lot better.

    For once, you timed it bad, mate.
