I built a website where we give away stuff for free like houses, motorcycles, cars etc and people have to do some free offers and then submit a essay telling me why they want my motorcycle. So far I`m not getting very many people to enter the contest even though Im offering a 1-25 chance of winning the motorcycle. So far I have put three ads up on craigslist and got five visitors but no people to enter. Im running xrumer to get alot of traffic but so far no signups. Do you think I should create a affilate program where I give away $25 for every person that enters the contest? After I pay the affilates and because there are only 25 allowed to enter I still end up with $2000, so what do you think and where do i setup a affilate program and find people to do this for me? any suggestions on how to make this a success?

maybe its not a hot niche or ppl dont believe that they can get FREE products as you mentioned above so I would just try to keep pushing it as much as you can also try to do some offline marketing maybe a flyer or business card with your ad on it.

Experiment with colour, template, content. Make people believe in your website..

A full essay? That's probably scaring them away.

Are you serious? are you an internet marketer?

Give people what they like .. reasonable things, if you want more response from them, and more money too..

If you say your giving away a $5.00 gift card and a $100.00 gift card, you get more replies from the lower gift card because people think it's true, not many people are going to believe your going to give away $100 worth of stuff online.

Offline marketing makes it perfect. Distribute flyers, rent a billboard ad etc etc.. Anything on offline marketing.

Lower your prize dramatically... Do you honestly think someone will believe that they will get a house?

Put yourself in the visitors shoe, if you came across your own website... Would you follow through with it? If the answer is no, go back to work.

I would say think more along the lines of something like an iTunes gift card.. We all like music...That seems more realistic than getting a house for free.

The problem is credibility...

Are you guaranteeing that after they submit an essay etc that they will get these things?

Giving away an ebook is one thing, but a house? that's something you need to prove... even if you give it free

Full essay? That can be a turn off to some people.

Anyway, I agree with rap8557. Search for forums about free stuff.

Awesome Ideas and will try them all out to see what sticks, I posted a help wanted ad in three major cities on craigslist hiring people at $25 per hour and have a few intrested people all ready that I need to call back.

Have xrumer up and running posting on 1 million forums this is just to get traffic to the site and to show the advertisers that we have traffic and then the real people entering the contest can filter in slowly .

I only need 25 people to fill out about 25-50 Free offers and submit a 100 word essay and this will be a hit and profitable for me as well.

Going to find those free forums and manually signup and or use xrumer to market the site even more.

Keep the ideas coming Im listening and putting them into action so thanks for them.
