I just thought that I would take the time to make a post for everyone explaining how the report button works, but mostly for the dumb kids who get power trips off of it, the people that report people because they think its cool and the idiots that don't know better yet. First off, let me show you my current rep, so you can get an idea of how abused this abuse button is.



Now all but one of those came from one post that was pretty controversial, and for the most part, the negative rep was from people that "disagreed" with it, not from people that thought I was breaking the rules of the forum. That is a whole other story that I am not here to tell you about.

I will just say that I have never reported anybody on this forum for anything. There are a few dumb people here at BHW that deserve to be punched in the face, but being dumb does not justify a report.

Which is why I wonder why some of the people hit that button like it's cool.

To those idiots: Do you know what the hell the red button says? It says "report" not "click if you disagree", not "click if you don't like this member". For the love of god, it does NOT even say "give negative rep" IT SAYS "report"!
If you try to report with that little button, it will tell you what is a reportable offense. Let me break this down for you red button clicking morons.

"This is ONLY to be used to report spam, advertising messages, and problematic (harassment, fighting, or rude) posts. "

That is exactly what it says. Now if you people can't figure out that EVERYTHING else, is a NON-REPORTABLE offense, than just leave the button alone all together.


All of that said, lets talk about the people that hit that button for the hell of it. Take the person who posted "I hate you". Dude, you don't even know me. And what the hell does it have to do with ANYTHING at all?
Even if you do, who cares? You make me think of that song by ICP: "How many times will you honk your horn and say fuck you? Now what the fuck does that do? Ya feel better now?"

Exactly, not only have you abused the abuse button, but you have done nothing productive at all. You wanna feel better? Go eat some superman ice-cream and leave the red button alone.

Now that you red button hitting clowns know that. The green button is simple. It's to be used for people that contribute, to say "good job this may just help the forum" not just me, in which you may hit thanks, but again, this may be new to you as you are usually too busy clicking around the forums looking for an argument or somebody to hate on, to realize this.

For all of you that know how to use the green and red buttons, good for you. For all of you that do not, READ THIS AGAIN or just go away.... and don't go away mad.... just go away....

Don't worry about the green and red lights, if you deserve rep, it'll come around when people see your name and respect your posts more.

It's not because I am mad that people spammed me with neg rep. Its just that people run around doing this to tons of BHW members like its cool..... There name should be attached or something so that they know they will be reported "for real" for being the BHW equivalent of a CL flag happy jerk.

But "most inexpensive" isnt as catchy, but I can tell you one think its not cheap quality just a cheap price.
