This is so unfair!

Hey everyone

This is just a subtle rant!
A few days ago I officially joined the BHW and posted my gratitude towards the members and the MODs here in BHW. If it wasnt for this brilliant forum, I wouldnt have been able to do what I am doing now. And it is possible only because of the extremely helpful people here.
I usually dont ask questions since I believe this forum is a treasure chest and as everyone knows, precious gems are found upon searching and not upon asking. So this is what I've been doing.

Now a few days ago, I posted a thread where I asked about SAPE.

Since I have not been a member for long, I am not allowed to post the link to that thread. However- it was called Sape-Russian backlinks.

And people just negative repped me because I asked about something which is relatively new here?? This is so unfair!

We all learn and give back and in time I hope to give back something to this forum which will be much more than a trial and error journal, which does take a lot of courage and kudos to those who are doing it, but I would like to give back something which people can replicate. Again, please dont misunderstand this because there are millions of threads where you can replicate methods and make those millions- with time and patience.

but neg repping someone because of asking stuff is totally not fair. It discourages people and in reality, a neg rep is a sign for someone that trolls threads or just spams around. That is not what I am here for. I shall become a donor soon so that I can have additional features added to my account.

Please people be kind to those who ask and in turn educate others about things they may not know about. Neg repping will just discourage us and turn us into reluctant failures, which are dime a dozen especially in our industry.

I just + repped you because fair enough I dont like to see people indiscriminately handing out negs because you have bothered them.

At the side theres a search bar. If you had typed SAPE in there you would have got access to many threads about this much discussed and not terribly new thing. If you want to avoid more negs then make more use of the search. Asking is good but the board doesnt need to be clogged up with duplicate threads.

Its people like you that there is still hope in this cut throat industry. And yes, I agree I shall be very careful to search for even things I consider a little new to myself and others. Youre right, duplicated threads and bothering people is just out of order. But thank you once again.
