Hey Guys,
I have been helping some friends promote their music for a while now but have never really been big into the ReverbNation. It's been setup for a while and never really messed with after being setup. I checked a few months ago and my guys were ranked #420 for the Hip-Hop genre in our city.

Just a few days ago I checked on it and noticed that they were ranked #8 locally and #17 overall for all genres within our city. I honestly have NO CLUE what made such a big impact on the ranking and how it works but ever since we have been receiving emails from other artists + booking agents wanting to setup shows. The guys have been seeing these emails and we have been working with a few people that actually put together legit shows....

Now my question for all you blackhatters is .....do any of you know what is taken into account for Reverbnation ranking?? We have a decent fanbase online but never really promoted the reverbnation page at all(notice their actual RVN plays) ....In typical fashion my boys now want to be rank #1 so we are trying to figure out some ways to get up there.
