Hi, Today one of my facebook account get tagged by a image, which says "Get a free ipad 3, i got one shipped yesterday, visit b******.com". When i seen that, i just want to know which cpa offer he was using? i went to that site b*******.com, and got surprised. Because, it's look like a actual facebook page. The header and footer are just screen captures of facebook, Some real look profile faces are also there. I won't click the offer link, because it may be a malware. Isn't illegal? or can we use the same method? what's your thought?

Sure you can do the same thing but it's obviously illegal.

Clicked the link and its taking to a cpa offer and his aff ID is 1xx2 and offer ID is 8 :P

he use similar page so it looks like close to Facebook, and this guarantees higher conversion rate for sure, if you see that its malware congrats on shit antivirus, i dont use antivirus cuz i know what i download and i download obvious virus files

Nothing wrong if he copies FB and use his CPA offers, if people want they will enter Email and there is no FRAUD

There's nothing fraudulent about it, as long as the info entered into the offers is good the advertisers will be happy and the AM will be begging for more traffic.

It can be a fellow blackhatter so you better remove any ties to that page... Please don't spoil things for others, it might be someone broke and he needs money to feed his family.

I dont think there is any fraudulent in that.. he has customised his landing page for better conversions but I must say this guy knows the stuffs

I remember writing 100 articles of 200 words on the keyword, "Get Free iPads". Initially, I found it hilarious, but later I came to know that he was in fact making good money out of it. I don't think it's illegal.

Edit: The three keywords assigned to me were as follows:
1) How to get a free iPad?
2) Free iPads
3) Get Free iPads

Okay it's not exactly illegal but it can be considered fraud due to the site impersonating Facebook for financial gain. The owner can get fucked big time.

This is the typical old assumption someone (that doesn't know laws) thinks it's right because he heard someone say that sometime somewhere... Truth is fraud and blackhat are VERY OFTEN intertwined and / or overlapping and the confines sooo hard to define.
