Help Me Become Googleless! Ideas Please...
OK, I've decided to rid my life of all Google products...
I'm going to dump -
Gmail
Google Search
Google Chrome
Google Circles
I've gotten rid of Google circles today because its a failure, plain and simple.
I'm going to try out Linkedin and Twitter instead (Facebook is very boring these days)
I've heard Bing is the best search engine these days so I'll go with that...
What do you guys reckon for email provider? What about web browser?
I want speed and privacy!

Email: outlook.com, Microsoft really fixed up their email which makes me wonder why they dodn't do it half a decade ago considering they dominate the Desktop Based email client industry.
Search: Blekko, but I am so sick of them installing their toolbar in software. SEO Tool is now 99 a month so they seem to be going to the "Monetize Everything" phase of the business.

Browser: Maxthon. HTML 5 compliance is #1, ability to switch proxies on the fly (I store a few proxies for certian email accounts, countries etc as a favourite), Resource Sniffer so you can download the source of Flash Content, Automatic RSS feed finder, and if you choose the Google Chrome Skin it'll be like you are still using Chrome. There are some native functions I miss from Chrome such as the hot keys which it is why it's still my default browser for general surfing (like reading BHW) but transfer your bookmarks and use Maxthon!

Didn't you know, you can't escape Google?
They're almost as bad as Facebook when it comes to storing as much information about you as possible, from now until the end of the world.

It's only slow the first time you load it after a reboot, after that it is cached and opens straight away.
You might also like to try Opera if you're looking for a fast and elegant browser.

I tried Opera and I did like it! I think the guy who invented the web browser is behind that now..
