i really cant`t understand that a country like the us has such a weird and fucked up policy and makes such a big deal about something so small.

just ban tabaco and handle marihuana the same as alcohol, and a lot of problems would be solved. there probaly would be a lot less alcohol addicts cause some people turn to weed instead of alcohol because they find it more enjoyable.

i agree that it should be regulated, keep it away from children under 18, but it schouldn`t be banned.

we cant imagine going to jail for smoking a joint. we are alowed to cary 5 grams on us at any time. the police can`t do nothing about it. as long as you are not causing trouble and people have no complaints.

and here we see on the cops show on tv, guys being handled like murderers and beaten with gummy sticks because they have a few crums of weed lying around in their car from a joint they smoked 2 months ago.

just to weird man, really fucked up.

depends on the cop. Honestly, I had a cop who refused to bust me (I bet he smoked when he was younger). His partner was like "I smell marijuana" and the other cop just ignored his partner and didn't bust us .

On the other hand, I had a douche cop that game us an ultimatum:
1) Either we go to jail for 1 day, and then we can argue our case (wtf, you have to go to jail 2 have rights?)
2) Or we lose all our shit, (including my hookah which wasn't even used for fucking weed!), and get fined $250.

We ended up giving up all our shit which cost us over $700. Wtf is wrong with this world? And this happened in Canada.. imagine what happens in the U.S.

Well, the guys who made the documentary are getting delayed.. Guess why? Because of lobbying against this movie.. It was refused to be put in theaters..

Anyways their dvd is going to be released soon, but I think you can only by it on Amazon.com right now (fucking lobbyists), or if you wind a torrent for it.

I believe its in PAL format but can be conerted so you can play it on your DVD player. The title is "The Union: The Business Behind Getting High"

I think marijuana will eventually be made legal. First it is slowly being decriminalized state by state and medical marijuana is legal in some states. I live in NY and if your caught with under 20 grams its considered a citation and you have to pay a $100 fee if its a first offence. If anything how much more money can the government pour into "fighting" it especially when the amount of smokers increase each year. Sooner or later the peoples voice become the law and its only a matter of time before people see that fighting marijuana is a complete waste of time.

Personally I believe one big reason its illegal is because it will be hard for the government to profit from...much like prostitution. Too many personal growers and people turned on to weed may be turned off of alcohol and cigs so big money lost there by corporations.

The answer to why anything is the way it is in the end usually has to do with money not our personal safety or any of that shit. Money.

Cool, I had a debate recently w/ an older friend on this and I can't imagine if they watched these vids the reality wouldn't start to think in and may change their convoluted arguments.

I agree that this will be legalized but we are still realistically 1 generation away from this happening since the "reefer madness" generation controls congress.

I hope Dems stay in Office and have the BALLS to make the changes necessary (regulating/taxing marijuana and gambling) in order to finance our excesses and bring down our deficit that doubled under Bush

Lol, I used to use light bulb vaps when i was like 13. Make sure you wash them out real good before you use em, some of the paint and stuff in there can be really harmful.

Thanks for posting this. This was very interesting and I definitely learned a lot. I have always thought America had some screwed up laws concerning weed, but never knew it was once legal and used so widely commercially.
