My one competitor is hated but successful. I'm the new guy. How to capitalize on this?

Just looking for ideas as I'm used to dealing with competitors that care.

Thing is, online, you can have a website you're hated for and still be successful.

That's the case with my competitor. I'm doing much the same thing they are, in a close market, but more than anything our domain names our super similar and execution is entirely different - I'd like to bleed his traffic, capitalize on his weakness and improve my site's success based on his site's notoriety.

Any input would be great.

I think posting your website would be helpful. Hard to study Strengths and Weakness without seeing the site.

There is an old American cliche never disparage your competitors

Praise them - BS them - then ZAP slay them and take the conversion for your site

Give them the spiel - Like ABC have a great product but we offer so much more here right now .....blah blah .... they hit button - bish bash bosh you have a sale

Milk off them all the negative vibes against your product turn them into a positive for your benefit

You have to be SMART and getting into fight witn them is NOT SMART!

Use them take the dummy out of their mouths and leave them crying in the pram - while you sit back and count all the orders you have made thanks to these dumbf**ks!

Make him look like a scruge and lower your prices till hes out of the biz then raise them skyhigh. Monopoly my friend.
