It would have been more accurate to say 3.75 liters equals 1 us gallon instead of 4.

3.75 estimate ~ $8.25
Actual 1 gallon (3.78541178) ~ $8.33
4 estimate $8.80

And how the fuck you get $80 from 65 British pounds. In order for it to be $80 the British pound would have to equal about $1.23. In reality 65 British pounds is about $103.

And comparing the price of fuel in the United States to the UK or comparing any two nations is completely pointless. A more accurate comparison would factor in the average fuel economy and average needed distance traveled.

People are too stupid to realize that you don't use USD in England and British pounds in the States. Michael Moore used that idiocy way too much in that hospital documentary which might be part of the cause.

They were converting the money for to show Americans what it costs. But the first conversion they used 1 British pound ~ 1.39 usd and second conversion was 1 British pound ~ 1.23 usd.
