I dont see my site on first page of google, for either keyword How soon will this happen

keyword 1} publish - About 558,000,000 results (0.)8 seconds
keyword 2) writing - About 1,240,000,000 results (0.21 seconds)

God Help me I cant seem to get anything right


After reading this . I had a look at what type of jobs people where looking to get for 5 bux and less

1) translate a 100 articles from english to spanish for $4

2) write good quality articles (min 4 x 400 words). can lead to long-term work.

3) create a wordpress plugin for me

4) need website designed

5) Programme baccarat bot for me ( must be new}

6) Someone who will translate my book from English to Italian

7) Write a salesletter for my WSO ( must be unique perfect grammar and spelling,

8) Signup, Open forex account, We trade, Share $400 profit, Get 10 others

9) write 400+ wrds about a personal vacation horror story at specific named resort . [ destroy somebodies business for a fiverr

10) my favourite, Get ky Alexa Rank from 200 000 to 10 000.

Are these people for real, surely they cant expect anybody to reply to these Ads

why people waste time on trying to make money on fiverr is beyond me.

You'll learn in business the pareto principle quickly. As it applies to fiverr, these customers that might provide 20% of your earnings and will take 80% of your time. In short, customers that spend the least demand the most.

As a smart business person you won't allow this to happen because time is a limited resource. You pull levers with your online business to discourage these buyers and send them to a competitor. For our e-commerce sites we have low-order-fees or minimum order limits.

We used to take all orders and my God, those cheapskates literally beat us to death. Take an order for $300 and never hear from the guy and all is good. Take an order for $10 and the SOB is calling every hour, complaining about the quality, bitching about slow shipping even if you ship the same day, demanding tracking numbers and on and on. Prune those SOBs from your business model and focus on customers with money. Otherwise you'll drive yourself mad and I can tell you no matter how good a job you do for them, it won't be good enough if they're spending just $5.

Look at the shit threads here for BHW members thinking they got screwed for $5 (is that even possible?) on fiverr because they only got half a gig. They run around demanding refunds, posting negative feedback, starting shit threads and blasting some poor sap's facebook page for $5. You don't want any of these jokers for customers - trust me. It never ends with a happy ending. Your worst critic will be the customer that spends the least.

Yeah that guy asking why his site is not on page one after using one Fiverr gig is ridiculous...................everyone knows it takes TWO Fiverr gigs

A big part from the buyers are insane. The biggest problem is their lack of knowledges. I just saw a seo related gig with negative feedback: "My site move only 2 pages up. I expected more.". So the motherfucker move 2 pages up for $5 but he write a negative feedback. Amazing!

It's hilarious what some people expect for $5.

I had a gig there to host a landing page for $5 a month. You provide the entire page, i will host it.

My first sale the guy wanted to know when I would finish his web site, if it would be WordPress or Joomla, and how many pages of content it included, what domain name I had bought him, and why it wasn't $5 every 6 months, since a domain only cost $10 a year and I was taking advantage.

Now I sell plugins and graphics packages.

LOL I had this one customer that hired me to make calls in the US to clients, I figure sure I'll call a couple of hrs per day get some beer money, the MotherF!#@$ comes back the following Monday and say's hey your $5 dollar rate is to high I got this lady doing the same thing for $2 an hour can you change your rate and call for 3hrs $5bucks I was.....WTF
Also had one gig for 1hr personal assistant. I would get 3hrs of work for 1 gig. I started canceling orders left and right needless to say I removed those gigs now I do shit I know wont take more than 5-10 min other wise Fuc$%^ fiverr.

I get a few orders from odesk and freelancer my rate is 15-20 bucks since I have a good rating I get customers that are willing to hire me for longer periods of time and pay my fee, pretty sure those are the same ones that got burned in fiverr and now they have to pay to get the work done properly.

In the old days $5 used to get you the special at the Port Authority.

I guess nothing really changes.

The only thing I would do on fiverr is sell reports or some other crap that only takes a minute to attach and send out (along with upsells).

Doing services on there is pure insanity... especially when competing with people from countries where $4 is a decent daily wage.

I also work on oDesk in translation, since there's some nice $$$ in that, and I also actually like translating stuff. My going rate is usually something between 0.06-0.08 USD per source word, mainly due to the fact that I'm self-taught and have no certification whatsoever. Anyway, I do top notch work, and such "low" rate ensures me to get quite constant flow of it.

But once, I applied for this one assignment, regardless of their announced budget, and stated my rates. Got counter proposal along the lines of "You have great resume and all, but could you lower your rate to $0.01?".
Told them that I make more money than that by just scratching my balls. Attached my email address at the end of the message and told them to get in touch later on when they either found noone to work, or got some crappy Google translation. And behold, week later "sir, we have this assignment that pays 0.06..."
