    Default Weird Dmca

I just got this comment on my site ( Comment was posted on the page where I put DMCA text, there is email where they can send DMCA, but instead of sending me an email they posted a comment):

    To whom it may concern:
We’ve noticed that your bot, D**** Hack Tool, infringes with us. This bot is fake and we ask that you take it down along with all videos. If not, we are warning to get this site shutdown. You will be given 7 days from today to take it down. You’ve been warned.
    Thanks,
    John

The email is real and belongs to that company, john(@)backflip*.com
My site is hosted in Russia and domain is bought at name.com. This hack tool is not hosted on my hosting, I use file hosts.

What should I do about this?

Unless your banking big, I would delete the links to the bot and work something else out.

I've had similar problems hosting links to a bots on one of my sites.
I had to delete all links and keep it to written information instead

These guys usually mean it. They can target everything releated to your site, hosting / domain / adsense / paypal etc.

Just push the domain to an offshore registrar. Easily fixed.

Then tranfser all your stuff to ru and hope for the best ;-)

If they mean it they will probably contact your host and .ru provider and try to shut you down.

They will probably also take contact to where you earn your money try to get your account closed and get your personal information.

Just a word of advice. Dont really know the russian laws ;-)

.com TLDs are still fine. Just move to a Russian or Swedish Registrar. As for a suggestion, I use rebel.com (Canadian) as most US laws don't affect them.
