I need a way to get a couple thousand purchases on iTunes for a clients song. Of course they all have to be unique IP.

I was thinking MicroWorkers right out of the gate....but can you make MicroWorkers buy something first and then pay them later. I've used MicroWorkers a ton but have never seen a job where you had to buy something first.

I'd imagine it's fine - it's only 79p or something. Test it with 10 buys and see what happens. Keep us posted.

Make it free first and then switch to paid? Do something like ** FREE FOR LIMITED TIME ** then start a job on some freelance site like oDesk and offer a small amount per buy (like 50 cents).

Well, this client of mine is CONVINCED that they need to drop money into radio and blowing up their song on iTunes.

I think they are trying to show proof to "labels" that they are popular. I have tried to convince them they are wrong but this is the route they want to take

Promote a youtube video and buy a lot of views add the download/buy link on the description

They couldn't be more wrong. We had an indie artist debut in the top 10 for digital single sales and the labels couldnt care less. The are more interested in "perceived" popularity, youtube views/subscribers, twitter followers and facebook friends. Show astounding #s in those areas and then they get some attention.

Well, I did that for them....and they did get offers from labels.

I believe they think that top of iTunes will be "icing on the cake"

I SEO'd the crap out of them and when you put "electro rock bands" in Big G, YT, they are at the top.....most of the electro rock keywords they run the show in fb,google, yt.....

I just had to check seeing your other post.

electro rock bands has 260 global exact searches and low competition. Don't think you had to "SEO the crap out of it"

I defiantly know there are ways to boost itunes charts to appear in the top 5 - top 10 just dont know how they do it. I hear some record companies do this to boost their clients.
