Quick question - Stacks on mac?
Hey guys,
I just got a mac, did a bit of google searching and couldn't find the answer to my problem so thought I'd ask here:
On my dock, there is a stack for my documents folder. In the documents folder, there is a folder called 'Microsoft User Data' which was created when I installed office. I don't want to move this folder out of documents or delete it; I just don't want it to appear in the stack on my dock.
Is there a way I can choose specific folders/files to not appear in the stack even if they are in the folder of the stack?
Thanks for any help.

Re: Quick question - Stacks on mac?
Well, no real easy and "smart way", but you can always run the following in Terminal:
Code:
chflags hidden ~/Documents/Microsoft\ User\ Data
This will make the folder hidden, yet accessible by whatever program uses the folder. Remove your stack and add it again to refresh it.
edit. And just to mention, "nohidden" shows the folder again
