likely yes, however depends on your graphic card - i've run a 1920xsomething off an 800x600ish netbook, works but sluggish

My laptop is the regular intel hd graphics. Do you think it will work?

I have a macbook pro running windows, but if I hook up a external monitor and I use two monitors (external and internal) I only get the resolution of the internal monitor.

I see. I think im trying to duplicate the screen rather than extending.

Intel hd depends on the horsepower of the laptop. My NetBook is very underpowered. I'm sure you will be fine.

Supasmooth I at times run a MacBook running windows as well and no problems. Are you running it as an extra monitor or cloned display(same screen on both monitors)?
