I was wondering why is it so hard to concentrate in studying but so easy to concentrate in other things?

Re: Studying
The reason is you will work harder on the subjects that you are interested in. All you can do is try your best.

Re: Studying
It's to do with your conscience thought; and the state of consciousness you are in. Generally, when you are studying you are either:
A) Focused and awake - You recall information and are not distracted
B) Distracted/bored - In which case, you are thinking about things that interest you or random conscience thoughts that appear in your mind.

Re: Studying
Get rid of your phone, Facebook, BHW, whatever... and you will be much less distracted.

Study the BlackHat way by making subjects interesting. Try to really understand the topic and the inner workings of what you're studying rather than just memorizing the topic/words. You'll be fascinated when you realize how things work and when you're able decode the method. You can then write pretty much anything on that topic or answer any questions thrown at you.
Sometimes the first step is the hardest and things get easy after you initially force yourself to do something. For example like exercising. Once you get out of the house and start running/walking, you'll find it hard or fun enough to stop. It's called inertia.
Be consistent (study a little every day) and you'll see good results during the exams, just like anything else in life. For example, if you put 5 bucks every day (150 bucks a month) in your savings account which has 5% interest rate per annum, you'll end up having $61912 in 20 years.
If you study earliest in the day or immediately after school/college, you'll be done with your study quota for the day and can have fun for the rest of the day doing whatever you fancy!!
