I'm looking to upgrade to the iphone from my basic phone. I already have a contract with Verizon. Do I need to get a new contract to get the iPhone? Also, am I required to have their minimum data plan of 1 GB ($30 a month)? Can't I get the phone unlocked? One of their customer service guys said I can get it with an International sim card in it. Great but I live in the U.S. so will people have to call an international number to get a hold of me?
