I totally agree. Some people just lack manners and good breeding so they post negative comments and offensive language. They never knew how to give respect to people and they don't really care at all if they have offended someone in any way, especially the racist posts. I am happy you have a way to delete all those to keep the forum members safe from these offenders. Kudos!

I agree about removing the lounge. We have such a broad demographic of people here that it's impossible for them all to get along when discussing off topic. Everyone is so touchy feely and getting offended by words nowadays that it's just not worth it.

I'm sure policing the lounge takes up too much of Mod's time anyway. I vote for delete the lounge.

I like it,but its to distracting, I'd probably have made 50x more if there was no lounge.

that it is also seen that lot of members, includes senior members and DONORS jr. vip are using illegitimate pics in their AVATAR which can be seen in every post or reply they make

some of the pics can be seen here itself, rest i remember seeing some pics like an old guy with a naked blond on his lap as a AVATAR or 2 girls showing clevage

I would not want the lounge to go. I rarely come to the lounge. Its filled with annoying kids that are racist, sexist, homophobic, etc etc. I am not sure why this place has attracted that; you'd think it being the internet that maybe people would put down their barriers of sex, religion, race etc. Not on here they don't! Its especially awful that there are racist posts/comments on here. This is one place on the internet where people from all sorts of countries come together. No race is better than any other.

At the same time, the lounge is a necessary part of the forum. Its the part that reminds you that we are people too. Its the place where we be human, rather than some IM robots I like just knowing its there.

One thing I will say, is that while I despise sexist posts, I hate it when girls flaunt being a girl on here and then complain when someone posts something sexist. There was one thread where some awful person posted that they were a girl, then asked that, because she is a girl, can everyone tell her their ways of making money. When people started flirting with her, she acted disgusted that they would do that because of her gender. Excuse me? You just tried to whore yourself out on a forum for information. Then you act disgusted that everyone treats you that way? I respect people embracing what they got; if you want to use it to get info then sure, go ahead. But why complain that you are being treated that way? You ASKED to be treated that way, for gods sake.

I don't understand the hoopla of being a girl on here. Why does it matter if this is a sausage fest?

Yep, that's cool. I'm still trying to get it into student's heads that gender neutral language is more professional, and that any academic worth his/her salt will reflect this in their writing; thus, humankind not mankind, etc. That said, I know you're talking about a more hostile gender discrimination here...I think many of us guys still need to learn from women how women should be treated.

This is great. Love it that someone takes a stand.
