I'd like to see a picture of that. I am a freemason and not everything is masonry or affiliated with masonry.

Doesn't mean shit to me, my small town in Ohio is full of those symbols on buildings and houses. Just every day life here.

You can go on Ebay at times and buy a steel punch to make these. There is no significance, someone just stamped the penny. Great way to get conspiracies started. If you look closely the stamp goes into the chin of Lincoln and that would not happen in the making of a coin. Use your old friend Google and you will find a lot of references.

Well that's a masonic symbol. And everybody can pretend to be a mason. Real masons know real masons you can't fake it. A lot of the crap online is just crap. It's all distorted with rumors. There are things that only a mason would have if he (or she depending on what part of the world) would have. That's interesting though. I wonder where it came from. As far as buildings with the symbols that's because traditionally in America buildings are christened by masons.

yeah saw the punches just wanted some more feedback, the punches i saw had ruler marks in them, haven't found one with the same indent of this symbol. I think it is more likely someone just being stupid the back of the coin has a bit of an indent I don't think a real mason would make an error like that because they are professional masons.

Someone needs to create a blackhat society. I would become a Mason but their rules are too lame. You have to be of good moral character(boring) and Patriotic to your country(So no rogues).

The world is controlled by the industrial banking cartel. They do pagan rituals and worship pagan gods.

Look up trilateral comission, bohemian grove, royal bloodlines, etc.

That's always funny when I hear the stuff people say about masons. It's a fraternity. People dream of masons secret gateway to hell and controlling the world and satanic rituals and all this craziness.
If i say that's not true they say "well you're not high up enough yet then!" Some of the biggest things I've learned about being a mason is nothing is what it seems and don't believe what people gossip about. Don't let your crazy hang out. Santa Clause was based on a child molesting saint, the tooth fairy isn't real, the Easter bunny is the pagan symbol of fertility and your lover probably liked someone more than they like you. Sad but true..
There is so much more important things that are going on that are fact and in your face. But hey if you're into chasing the loch ness monster and flying dragons have at it.

Whoever you want him or her to be. The original reason masonry was considered "evil" is because of the acceptance of man no matter his religion. During that time it was frowned upon to fraternize with someone of a different religion. You'll go to hell if you're a christian hanging out with a Jew hanging out with a Muslim. Masonry doesn't discriminate based on religion that's your right as a free man to believe what you want. I have friends of all religions I like to learn about them and ask questions I don't think they should be stoned. But hey that's just me. I'll make this the last question I answer about it I don't want to screw with this really great forum it's a really good source of information!

It's part of the degree work. We given them to newly raised masons. I won't say why the penny has importance but you can easily find the first 3 degrees online or in a Duncan's ritual

In our country, yes; it's a though one.
Imagine communism coming out of the blue and fitting mine workers into your house because it's nice and big and there's room for others.

Generations later the whole eastern block ended up with self-esteem issues because we feel compared with worthless pieces of shit and we need to prove the contrary at all costs.

That's why we'll never amount to good moral character.
