I have cable TV. It's pretty good but expensive. I've heard many people say that sky TV in Europe wasn't very good...billiards during prime time, ect.

I would go ape without decent TV.

This is why USA is in crisis and doesn't have any money!

No one has jobs there, yet they all want the latest iPhone, 9999 channels, 80" TV, 5.1 surround sound, etc.

It's crap and Sky TV in UK is too expensive. Luckily there is "the internet".

Does Torrents count if my monitor is a tv?

On a related note, why is live streaming of some channels from Romania from their website slow as hell? I can't watch Kiss tv. Is it because I'm located in the U.S. and they don't have a server for people located here?

Im in the UK and with Sky I have every channel I would want, few adverts compared to the US and generally only have to wait an extra day or two for new US TV shows. Price is not cheap to be fair but meh, you get what you pay for at least we only have to put up with one set of adverts every half hour and even less (or none) on lots of channels.

Wanki! i have every channel from sky tv and don't even watch most of the crap!

Just football :)

i pay 30 euro/month and i get 120 channels, and a DVR for this price, and about 8 channels are HD. i'm satisfied

virginmedia UK have only crap channels ! all of them damn it :) I`m missing romanian channels :)

@roparadise because the bastards are cheep :)

It's HELL... I haven't watched Egyptian television in over 2 years... Yep... that bad...

Torrent the tv shows, Romania has best seeders in the world. Its where Maxspeed is located.

~200 channels.. News, Sports, entertainment whatnot...
I pay around ~$2.5 per month for that. Its no HD though but whatever...

in my country there is TATA sky-$5 /month

200 channels..12 HD..

very cheap ..lol

BBC want you to pay TV licenses with repeat programmes, sky so damn expensive overrated repeated programmes and they go on about how they have 999 channels. grrr

Are tv tuners for pc exempt from the TV licenses?

can't compain - I have 2 HBOs + 2 cinemax + 160 or so other channels for about $20 per month; there's a new provider with 16 HD chanlles, so I might have to switch soon

To all UK people: I sure love the idea of few advertisements. I watch "East Enders" every Sunday night, even if it is 2 years behind what you get.

Roparadise: I've never watched TV online, but I know a software engineer from Australia working in Chicago who does. He says Americans don't know how to manage their money very well. Can you get CNN online?
