    Default Question about Gildan T-Shirts.

Does / did anyone ever wear "Gildan 5.3 oz Heavy Cotton" T Shirts?

I like the plain color t-shirts, nothing fancy. Do they shrink in the wash? Also, are they a sturdy t-shirt etc.

Hey yes I used to sell and wear! Wearing one right now lol. They are good and sturdy colours will fade like any if washed in hot h2o. Will shrink a touch in the dryer.

Thank you both. I was getting Fruit of the Loom t-shirts and I would get a 4xl t-shirt and i would wash it once(like it says on the pkg) in cold water and dry on a low/med heat and after one wash the 4xl shirt would shrink all the way down to like 1xl.

I like my shirts loose but not baggy baggy, but not skin tight. and I hate wasting $ and I remember reading about Gildan T-Shirts hearing that their decent quality, that in the wash they don't really shrink, I know everything shrinks a tiny bit in the washer, but the FOTL shirts would shrink MASSIVLY, plus its getting colder out and I'd rather have a heavy t-shirt as compared to a think as hell shirt.
