Default Mall Kiosk, WHAT TO SELL!?

So I got a kiosk in a mall which is doing pretty good actually. Hired a friend to maintain it,and I just collect the profits. I really want to expand within the same mall since they can give me a GOOD discount, but I never imagined selling anything else.. and frankly, a bit lost.

SO.. with that being said, if you would sell something at the mall, what would it be?

I was thinking of.. something w/ poker and adding a CPA offer for them to fill out for $150 or something like that.

Or creating a "PINK KIOSK" and selling only pink products.

    Or a sponge bob kiosk

or go to firebox/thinkgeek, find something there, find it in china, ship it here, and sell it...

    very lost.
    Any help will be awesome.
    Thanks.

    E-cigarettes are hot these days.

What about a very small kiosk that won't do any actual sales (easy to set up, no stock to worry about etc.) but only hands out leaflets which will send clients to the CPA offer of your choice? (there's loads available in the niche).

Not a bad idea. I recently came across someone who makes money by buying electronics for dirt cheap prices (there's always people who are desperate for money) and then goes on to sell them on eBay.

This person is doing it online but I'm sure it could work offline just as well.

I have many clients who are doing VERY well with e-cigs in mall kiosks. E-Cigarette manufacturing is my primary business. We are not just some reseller but a legit manufacturer. You can check out my thread here:

I have several CPA offers you can do on site, as I have a call center based account. Long as they complete a survey you can get bank per completed app. Depending on the foot traffic its the equivalent of decent retail sales.

I used to work a kiosk on straight commission selling exercise gear.

It was strategically place right in front of a Victoria's Secret store! NICE

HUGE posters of awesome women in there undies surrounded our kiosk.
Fatties would go buy their fillies see the pix, look at their reflections, look at
our gear and we would sell the crap out of the stuff.

15 years ago, $350 a day was not too shabby.
Return rate... probably 100th of 1% as I qualified them, showed how to use the items to get the best fat burning results, would spend time with them if they had more questions.
    I had referrals like crazy.
Stroking their egos like petting your favorite kitty helped too.

Women controll most of the $ so, anything that you could sell that helps them
look and feel better would/should do well.

The $ that guys are left with to controll, usually are just spent on their ladies so, Women should be a smart first choice target.
    High end Makeups too.

Go watch some late night Shopping shows and watch how much pampering items
    fly out the door.

Also, you already should have been checking out other malls and your competition.
You should know malls make their cash on the weekends so, go to another mall and see what is shaking there.
There is a magazine that is directed to Kiosk sellers,if I recall the name, I will get back and post it.

I provide items for several kiosks.

One of my top sellers in the past 6 months have been:

offered in different colors of course, but they sold quickly before school started. Most of the kiosk owners were making a profit of $50 per bag, typically sold 30 a day on weekdays, and roughly 60 on weekends for the months of June, July, August.

So I got something in mind...

Last call before I go out and test it...
and for people who PMed me.

I can't sell food (sorry!) because in Canada you need an NPN # if you consume anything, then you need the full nutritional label, needs to go through the regulator-- in other words... A LOT to do to sell food, so I am against it 100%

Unless I open up lolippon/candy kiosk.. but .. there is tons of that already

So what kind of a mall is it, or what part of the mall are you in? I know nothing about malls on your side of the Atlantic (well, apart from the stuff I've learned from mallrats), but I guess they aren't too different to the ones we have here in Europe. There are the big chains like H&M far down and the high profit items as well, toy stores and maybe an electronics store on second floor, travel agents and such further up. Top floors sometimes have a food court and sometimes one or two geek stores that one does not understand how they can pay the rent. I guess the stuff you sell in your kiosk would be very much dependent on what the stores neighbouring your kiosk sells.
