Ok, asking for thanks is just getting ridiculous on this website. Honestly, does it really matter how many thanks you have on here? Is this the only form of recognition that you have? If so, get out of the house! Accomplish something other than (maybe) building a website where real live people will congratulate you.

I just saw where it was taken to a whole new level. Someone posted an animated gif saying "hit thanks or I'll shoot this bunny."

This reminds me of people on WoW who sat around near the auction house all day showing off that they could leap onto a special pedestal, or that they had the newest gear, the longest sword, or were the first to get a special mount. Get a life!

I must admit that people pressing the thanks button on genuine posts of mine trying to help others is quite nice. I still fondly remember my early days in IM when everything seemed so foreign and difficult to understand. I also remember that feeling of enlightenment when I read something that gave me that one extra puzzle piece that made it all click and make sense.

The vast majority of my posts here are helping people who are now that person who I used to be when I was just starting to look for all those puzzle pieces. It is nice to know that you have helped someone in their quest of learning.

FYI, the first person that did the cute bunny trick got 50k in a month. He posted a pic of a bunny on a cage and his bank account. He said that if his bank account was not 50k in a month, he would eat the bunny.

Learn something from this instead of bitching on a forum about how people care for things you don't care on forums!

People entertain themselves that way. Why do you care? It doesn't suit your style? And you think they care? I know people who are game addicts and fuck more women in a year than average people in 50 lifetimes.

PS: Actually, I have never asked for anyone to click the Thanks
button for any post I have made. Fact is, if you share something
the members find useful, just trust that they will show their
appreciation. Being a "Thanks Whore" is frowned upon in BHW.
