My daughter came to me today, and told me something that I completely was not expecting.

Seems that, in about March of next year, I'm going to be a grandpa!

I don't think it has really sank in yet.

But the more I think on it, the more I kinda like the idea.

(Of course, the wife is overjoyed at the prospect of being a grandma. Big surprise there, right?)

I mean, I know, she is 21 and married, but the thought of becoming a grandparent just never really crossed my mind.

I know there are a lot of younger people on this forum, and more than a few parents, but, are there any grandparents in here?

Wonder what my daughter will say about me turning the child into a future Black Hatter?

Congratulations to you and your daughter! I don't have any kids of my own, so there's no way I could become a grandpa. I'm almost a little jealous.
