Does anyone know a .mts converter that is free and dl from online? Also I need one that keeps the 1080p quality- I have been searching forever and would love the help! thanks

and I ment .mts I have a new sony and stupid thing is not compatible with my mac (the new one is AVCHD and 1080p so please p.m. me if you have anything that will help

MTS format is a high-definition MPEG, AVC, H.264 transport stream video file
As you know the mac quicktime time can only play mov ,mp4,m4v,and some AVI .
so if you want to play mts files on your mac ,you have to convert it to mov or mp4.
