Anybody investing in penny stocks?

I know it is said that penny stocks are easy to manipulate thanks to the internet. However, it can't be all bad because it is still illegal to manipilate stocks regardless if some are doing it. Plus somebody has to be making money doing it, or, it would be useless to have penny stocks on nasdaq, right?

I was wondering those who invest in penny stocks what tips do you have for avoiding the scam artist and making money in the market.

Not all manipulating is illegal. If you bought shares in a comany that is priced low and tell people about buying now because it will go up. And ypu put the disclusre saying you own a stake in it,then you are not breaki g the law. This is the best way to make money on a peny stock. You could also do a 'day trading robot' as well.
 
the money in penny stocks is running a Investor relations firm. Trust me there is A LOT to be made.
 
I do. Look at the volume, the float, the history. Forums, research. Penny stalks are awesome. + .0001 could = 25%
 
I thank you for the tips on how to make money manipulating legal and owning a company virtually controlling stocks. Still I am asking how someone can make money buying penny stocks on the lower end.

If anyone has done it i'd like to hear it.
 
Skip all the headache of trying to pick a BBT or pink sheet stock, come visit me in Vegas and put it all on Black!! Not too different IMO unless you have (illegal) insider information on the company...

Isn't it best to trade quality stocks that trade in a specific range? I mean its easier to get 5 1% profits then it is to get 1 5% profit.
 
Please ask clearly, are you asking how people make money on penny stocks? I have a online account through Scotttrade, I buy them and then I sell them...?

A lot of my buying is based on forum chatter, friends who do it full time, and market history. I am part of the forums that are before the wave, my friends do it for a living and I learn as I go....



When you buy a stock worth .0003 and it goes up to .0007 you make a lot of money, pending your investment. You don't just buy the stocks, you research them, then you buy.

PM sent. If you join the forum do the free membership and join that group. The other member, friend from college, makes 15-20k a month trading penny stocks. Me, not that much but I am slowly building and don't plan on investing anymore. Just increasing.

Yeah, there is a lot of factors that go into playing with penny stocks. Manipulating them is extremely easy, but I would start with a for-dummies-book or some other books on the net. Get a great understanding for the stock market then maybe play around with them. Research the companies, but this is usually easier said than done since most of those companies are small businesses. The price of the stock also depends on the amount the company has in assets, so how would you find out this information. Jump on a trader forum, because trading stocks is a whole other game.

That is the only way. Just be careful with whom you trust and what forum you are on. A lot are inflated BUT you'll learn a lot.

You can always call on the stock and find out the float and what is available. It is research and trend....and not getting greedy.
 
Just short the ones that are being over-hyped, they are guaranteed to be pump and dumps. You will make money like this. I used do this alot.
 
There is big money in penny stocks, don't let it get away from you. Watch movie, Wolf of Wall Street.
