(All prices given in USD.)

Should I just wait? Really dont know how much time it takes to flip on flippa

Have you already listed it? For How Long? Earning source?

ya listed it few hours back... earning source is adsense(my favourite :D )

i have never sold a site on flippa before, but from what i have read, if you want to get the best possible sale, you should promote it and practically sell it before listing.

Just saw your listing. Best of luck with the sale bro. Excellent site :)

hmmm sell it before listing? :-S

thanks :), Hope it sells soon... just got married, some money would be good

According to me its Earner site must go for 7 days. You can change it now but you cannot increase the time so be careful. And You can expect most of the biddings in the Ending time be available at that time. Also make Ending on thursday the most visitors day on Flippa. Good Luck for the sale

Mate,

I've never been involved in selling on Flippa, nor flipping...

But I have looked, often, as a buyer.

These are a couple of things that jump out at me on your lisitng, other than what Luka's suggesting regarding the length (and, trust me, treat every word Luka writes as a pearl you find in the ocean, because they're worth at least that much, when it comes to Flippa knowledge!):

a) Your site appears to pass CopyScape, by showing no possible copies in the Flippa stats. However, you added "Content not Claimed to be Unique".
That statement puts buyers off, or leads them to think they could make their own equivalent, thus subtracting perceived value from your site...

b) Following on from a), and if you can't claim it's "Unique", why not tell buyers what you're using for content. I.e. is it an autoblog? have you written yourself? purchased content? scraping? At the same time, let them know how much work would be involved for them to continue updating with similar content, so it can preserve rankings and traffic into the future.

I do see you mentioned "One custom coded feature which makes it unique", but it might be wise to expand a little.

Please don't take any of this the wrong way, just trying to help out by offering ideas as seen from a buyer's perspective.

Before considering changing anything because of what I've said, hang fire for a bit and see if other members (maybe LukaB) chip in with their thoughts on these points.

Good luck, hope it does well for ya and helps get your recent marriage off to a blinding start!!!

EDIT: Hadn't seen Meathead1234's post when I posted - LukaB's words are pearls in the ocean, Meathead's are diamonds in the desert!!! Having contributions on this thread from both of them...just awesome :D

Okay, I'm feeling generous and am eating lunch, so I'll give you some pointers now I found your listing.

- You haven't stated how much traffic the site gets on the stats part of the listing, add these in (even if they are approximate)

- As JD said above me, edit the site uniqueness elements as appropriate (Flippa recently made some changes meaning you don't have to fill these out - but you should)

- You need to be a bit more detailed in your listing. For a description, use something a bit more like this (I've put comments in brackets). Use this instead of the "What I offer?" part:

What are you bidding on? (note the use of the word bidding - you want them to have already decided they want to bid).

"YourDomain.com - which is a 100% passive Adsense site. Full of rich content and optimised for a high CTR, it requires no work whatsoever to maintain the current earnings.

It's in the lucrative evergreen jobs niche - which means the site will always be in demand and you don't have to worry about seasonal fluctuations of earnings.

There is plenty of potential for growth - the hard work has been done for you, all you need to do is add new content from time to time in the easy to use Wordpress CMS"

The next part you have with website features and what you will get is good.

Tell them you've just got married and want to take your new wife on a honeymoon, don't say "due to personal problems" - as that's a standard bullshit excuse, especially as you've stated the site is passive.

Few other typos in there: "Iam" should be "I am", "Its" should be "It's".

Not a bad job though. I would also make the BIN a more rounded number. Go with $997. Mention in your listing that if they hit the BIN button you'll include a number of bonuses.

Something like:

"BIN is set to just $997. If you choose that option, I will include:

- 3 new articles
- 1000 backlinks
- 3 month's free hosting"

Hope that helps - I could write about this stuff all day long (and do!). Good luck!

OMG! Thank you sooo much guys... Meathead, youve been really generous and I couldn't be more grateful :) . I have made some changes and will continue to make some more, I will also reduce the auction duration to 7 days and will keep my fingers crossed :D ...

You should also reduce starting bid to $1. I also run with no reserve normally, but I understand if you don't want to use this option.

Don't forget to reduce the BIN to $997 as well.

Ok 9 days are left, i have 13 people in the watchlist and thrs only one bid of $300 where as the BIN is 1100 ... I dun wanna sell it for $300 :( ... keeping my fingers crossed, hope some buys it at BIN price soon
