The Ultimate Black Hatters

Nice share, I'm going to finish watching this when I finish for the day.

Although it's not really blackhat when you're a big corporate at the top of the food chain... Then it's just called "advertising."

The big corps essentially have the power to pull off what I consider "black hat" activity on a massive scale. It's amazing what they've managed to do... you'll see what I mean when you finish the series up! :) (Number 3 and number 4 were probably the most revealing in that sense.)

They're simply creating a problem and giving you the solution to fix it. Whether you agree with it or not, that's what advertisers and marketers do...

I didn't watch all of the videos but I get the gist of it. In a way they are top blackhatters. They know how to manipulate people and the drug market.

That's one reason why I believe they don't want scientists to discover a cure for cancer and other diseases. The big companies will lose trillions of dollars.

True in a way, but, as a marketer, you're not always creating a problem--sometimes you're just playing into one. And although "creating a problem" may be a valid marketing approach, in the context of pharmaceuticals and the public's health, the fact that they're "creating a problem" may be a serious... problem. :p
