Working hard but still not making money =(

For the past 4 months now, my days are spent

-manually writing articles
-manually submitting articles (ezine, goart, artdash, etc)
-manually submitting to web 2.0 sites
-manually bookmarking sites
-running ppv campaigns
-running 7search campaigns
-outsourcing writing articles
-outsourcing submissions
-outsourcing video creation & submission
-spending hours and hours with scrapebox
-submitting using seolr
-submitting using article marketing robot
-submitting using magic submitter
-blasting clickbank / paydotcom affiliate links
-blasting viral pdf

I have 2 main sites I focus on. Plus 3 others I spend a little time.

All these hard work and I have nothing to show for it.

All I do is spend spend spend time, money and energy and I'm not making money.

Sighhhh.

I already lost my apartment and moved back to my momma's basement.

Is Internet Marketing my fool's gold? What else should I do to make money? How can I make this shit works?

I'm losing hope and now contemplating getting a job at McDonalds. :(

IM is really hard, and developing a website can take so long. SEO especially as youre relying on Google to give you some love, but sometimes Google just wont put out. It gets super frustrating.

However a lot of it is just patience, which is hard when youre broke. How many visits are your sites getting so far?
 
you havent talked about your keywords. If there is no attraction to your effort, then it's pretty useless. If you are doing all this, why not offer a service to get some $ right now ?
 
^^ My keywords are all carefully selected using Market Samurai. I rank #2 on one of my keywords. Just behind a SiteSell (Ken Evoy's) site.
 
Are the articles good? Good content? Nice site? Good, hungry market? So many factors affect making money online, at the end of the day this is MARKETING!! Put yourself in the shoes of your customers, and think of what they want to find, and GIVE IT TO THEM! If you really want, I'd be willing to give you a quick critique, PM me your site(s). Or just think about the questions I asked you and answer them honestly.

Articles are written by one of the PROs at WF. Cost $40 per article.
 
What is blocking you from success?

Are you ranking for your main keywords?

How much traffic do you get?

How do monetize the sites?

20 traffic a day.

Monetize: adsense, clickbank, paydotcom

Just not enough traffic.

IM DREAMING of a 5,000 traffic daily though. Damn, that would change things eh? You're playing conversion game at that point.
 
Maybe lose the $40 per article writer for now. You can get good articles for $10.

Maybe only focus on 1 thing like adsense or click bank.

Traffic is on the low side!

What type of keywords are you going for?

Give me a analysis of your typical keyword.

Coz it sounds like you have not done proper keyword research or if you have, you have been going after keywords that get very low exact searches.

What do you mean?

The details of the keywords? (traffic projection per month / competition)

or the actual keywords themselves?
 
If you can give the details of the keyword like this gentleman has done, that would be great.

Are you seeing any traffic at all from your keywords? Are they ranking anywhere in the first couple of pages?

I feel your pain man.

Look at things from a different angle (which is really hard to do when you've spent so much time on the same sites/strategies) temporarily.

Use leverage; use your strengths and either sell them on here (or any other forums you may be a member of) for $$$ OR exchange them for information! - just until you gain a bit more cash or have learnt enough about what to do next


  • You say you're submitting articles to ezine - since the recent ezine submission changes I bet there's no shortage of people on BHW who will either pay $$$ for a service like that OR tell you some seo secrets in exchange.
  • And I bet there's plenty more strengths you have that someone else will exchange for priceless info!
All you need to do is search for the most respected members here on BHW and offer your services for their knowledge. PM them and just be honest about what you have and what you want. I'm sure you'll find someone.

You'll be surprised how much an extra pair of hands for a few days can be a godsend to someone busy!
