I have a simple question that needs to be answered, and if this isn't the right place to be posted feel free to move it to the right section.
Anyway, it's about tracking affiliates during the actual pre launch period. I'm just wondering is it possible that I track affiliates during the pre launch when they send their lists emails about my pre launch videos, even before the sales page is even up?
I'll be using 1shoppingcart for this, so it would help if you have any experience like that.
Is it all done through cookies? It would really suck if some of my affiliates would refer potential customers to me and then not be able to make their money just because the actual launch email hasn't reached their lists inboxes at that particular time.
Can I just use code generated from 1sc just the same as if I would on the launch date and if they decide to purchase then the affiliate who first referred them to the pre-launch videos gets his/her sale commission?
This is my first bigger launch, so I'd appreciate the help.
