SO! What did you learn this year?

Or another way to put it,
is what did you accomplish this year.
(And figure out in the process)

I learned a bunch of things.
I personally, built a list of buyers of
over a thousand people.

I learned a whole bunch during the process,
such as.. its good to automate things that you
would otherwise do manually, be it have
some swipe files or software to help you do
those things.

It takes some WORK people. Nothing gets done otherwise.

I learned that messing around on the forums most of the time is
kind of a waste of time. Even though I have got some gold, here and there.

Also, actually helping people is a good business model.

You can also charge people a LOT of money on the back end.
All you have to do is make the right service.
Plus, its all about positioning.

You have to do your research, and put in some time to consistently
achieve what you learn IN your research.

Also customer service is a good thing to learn.
This way, you know how to make your stuff better,
and then charge more for it.

Also, BUILD YOUR FUNNELS!!!

I recently just got infusionsoft
(back to the software automation thing)
Mainly because it KICKS ASS at automating funnels.

And yea. This year I basically stepped it up from part time
internet earner to a full time (in march) and till now.

I plan on taking this much bigger in the new year.

Heres a list of things I learned

*Money does buy happiness
*7 kids means its time to stop
*DO NOT FIGHT 7 COPS
*Do not get pulled over weeks later by one of those 7 cops
*Turn bad habbits into good methods
*BHW is the most awesome site in the world

I suck at life... and making barely enough to live isn't helping either.
Another thing I learned is that I don't give a shit about other people and other people don't give a shit about me.

Thats not completely true, I dont know you but i give a shit. I dont want to see anyone unsuccessful, and i hate to see someone down on theirself. And instead of thinking that you barely make enough to live, think about it like this..... YOU'RE ALIVE

I learned that I can write a fairly decent article when I want to.
Or at least make reasonably good posts in a forum. LOL

Man that's sad. @xboxps3wow, just don't let that feeling grow into despair. Many of us have been there, thinking things are starting to go alright and then the rug gets pulled out from under us and we fall on our ass. We're all going through the worst economic downturn in the last hundred years. Just when it seems it can't get any worse sometimes it does. I lost everything I'd work toward for 25 years when the economy failed. So did a lot of other people. There's nothing to be done about that other than just start building again. It's hard but that's just one of the things that can happen in life.

It's not so much that no one gives a shit about you, it's only that most people are struggling just to take care of themselves. Don't let that make you become bitter. Just take it as a lesson that you have to be reliant on yourself.

It's like the saying goes, "surviving what doesn't kill us, serves only to make us stronger."

I wish you the best over the holidays, and hope that the next year will bring your more success.

Learned How to make money

This year was just amazing! Still remember how I googled for 2 hours until I found this site, got the thread and implemented it and made my first dollar! I joined the forum on some friend's recommendation in Dec 2009 but got active in Aug 2010.

*Its better to learn and do something practical and beneficial to yourself or rather the society than to spend the fuc*ing time at the school that teaches the same shit!

*Money does buy happiness and it is true.

*BHW is the my second Family!

Though I don't make big grands but yea, atleast this place helped me get started! BHW helped my family get back on the track. :thanks:

Learned that spamming search engines still works, and that's a great news!

Mmm, what have I found out this year:

1. A lot of people are still assholes in this world
2. People expect free meals along the way without doing groundwork
3. You work hard, you get far
4. Trust no one but yourself
5. Look after #1

I learned that i still had lots to learn about PHP skills, but now my site is getting more and more visitors who place more and more original content on my site! The snowball-effect is finally beginning

Ok what i did this year??

Nothing special but found a good community (BHW) where almost all people help each other and a better way to earn moneay.

I was active in this forum from august and now learning atleast a single point everyday about seo whenever i come here.

I am happy about the knowledge i am gaining here rather than earning 100$/every month.

"Knowledge is better than Wealth" lol...

I learnt;

Don't blow BH money going half way across the world by yourself, for a year because you figure it's a good idea when you can't speak the language, you know no one, you dont like the food and you've never travelled alone.

I blew ALOT of money thinking i needed to goto Japan for a year, got there, everything paid for, realised i just needed a holiday, spent 6 weeks there enjoying it, then came back.

Whoops! Totally worth the experience though.

Ahh well, least i get to be around the ones who matter at Xmas, that's a bonus!

I learned that seeds do really grow if you take the time to plant them carefully.

I learned that patience is a key factor in SEO

Merry Christmas everyone!

I learned that the saying "only the strong will survive" is 100% true.

I learned that the society in which we all live in is based on appearances and I noticed that more and more people don't say what they actually think, they say what they think the others want to hear and this situation makes me say fu*k you.

I learned to appreciate the human part of BHW members considering a few sad events and I am glad that we can show compassion.

I knew that money is a means to an end and realized that money=wealth ^ more money=power.

i'm gonna keep trying and trying until i reach where i want to be.
