God does anyone on this forum actually think rather then go "GET TOSHIBA BECAUSE IT GOOD" "GET THE MOST POWERFUL ONE!"
You really actually have to think about this then chuck up 3 links and go I want a laptop...
First of lets take into your consideration the price. Your looking at $700-$900.
Now all 3 options have pretty decent CPU's in them. However depends on what your doing.
If your just creating Facebook accounts, then you have no need to get some grunty i5-i7 computer. For surfing the net, it doesn't matter what bloody processor you have, a entry core 2 duo is going to have the same effect as surfing with a i7.
The 2 most important things for this are the hard drive and ram. If you wanna surf the net at a super pace, get a ssd. Gonna set you back $200 for a 80gb but would be worth it. Otherwise look at getting a 7200rpm hard drive.
Ram wise, unless your doing Virtualization, HD video editing or editing pictures in RAW formats, you probably won't use more then 4gb. Of course if you have a slow hard drive, it would be wise to get more ram.
Now the second point is what the purpose of your laptop is going to be. If your going to be using it out of the house, 2 things to take into consideration, weight and battery life.
Now option 1 has a 12-cell battery which is pretty good, compared to 6-cell in the other 2 which is netbook sized. You'll be like to get 90mins out of it.
They are all reasonably heavy as well. That 16" is going to way a god dam ton.
So if your going for portability I'd go with the option 1.
I think the main thing you've skipped is screen resolution. Have you noticed that they all have the same resolution. 1366x768 on a 16" would be horrifying, unless your blind it hurt your eyes looking at it every second! So I would not recommend the 16".
IMO if I were you, I'd save an extra $100 and get a 11" Macbook Air.
Why you ask? Well because I will bet you anyday that your fancy Asus or whatever gaming PC will get creamed by a baseline Macbook for surfing the web.
This is because the speed of the ssd. Web sites are stored in the ram and if there is not enough ram it dumps it on the hard drive which brings your computer to a halt. Due to the ssd being 999x faster then a standard 5400rpm hard drive, you can have 100 tabs open and not notice and lag.
Sure you got a small screen but you have the same resolution as all your Toshiba's. Plus the batter life would cream Toshiba 2 and 3.
So thats just my 2 cents, I'm not Mac Biased, it seems to me thats the best option and unlike most people, i can JUSTIFY myself.
I will end on the point that people who compare reliability of brands can GTFO. All laptops (including Macs) are produced in the same god damn factory (Foxconn) for crying out loud. They all have exact processors, ram, hard drives and screen. Basically the silicon and casing is the only difference. So don't go round saying rubbish you can't back up.
