So.. I'm curious.. what's the worst thing and farthest you've gone to make money online.

Personally.. I have no morals or standards.. money is money and I'd do what ever it took to get rich.

I've seen a lot of "e-whoring" methods on here which I really don't care for pretending I'm a woman but I want to hear, what's the worst thing/method/whatever you've ever done to make money whether it be a little or a lot.

Morals are a totally subjective subject. Its not morally correct to advertise sites for free to thousands of people and not be paid for it if you cater to smart browsers (who dont click ads) especially when they make cash hand over fist.

I would do anything that doesn't hurt another person. Believing in Karma, and 'What goes around - comes around' whatever you do will come back at you, so choose carefully what you do.

That said, we are animals. No more, no less. The highest form of animals, (although that can be argued) but animals no less and so it is survival of the fittest.

To date I have not found the necessity to do anything bad on the Internet other than fake names or download supposed illegal sh*t. But again, if it wasn't going to hurt anyone, I would probably go the full mile.

Same as Magician, I have yet had the need to do something illegal that I could get jail time for. I am all for unethical as I love blackhat but if what I am doing is going to physically harm somebody, then I would refrain from doing so.
 
I won't do anything that messes up people like malware installs. But I'm happy enough playing the game with corporations - I see it as a challenge to try to beat their system.
 
I used a fake name in an email, once. Will I burn in hell for that?
 
i have a rule, not to kick on the little guy...

I have thought about this issue many times. I'm getting into PPI and even tho i don't feel 100% good about installing stuff on others people pc's, i need the money so i can get into CS and other BH methods or even Whitehat methods ( that wouldn't harm the little guy ) and make money.
 
morals are relative to how desperate you are, ulitmately there is nothing any of us wouldnt do to protect family for example
 
Do unto others... that is the philosophy. Never harmed anyone. Fake names, of course! I have a day job too man. click fraud? of course clicked my ads from other computers. what else... not much unethical... :)
 
aliases for me, but that's not really unethical

i mean, i won't cheat people for money, i'm not into scamming...
 
never scammed, e-whored or anything illegal. simply made a couple of accounts using aliases and what not, the usual.
 
I don't have to do illegal stuff to make a real nice income online.

Will not cheat or lie to make a buck.

Could I make more $ if "my rules" were much more flexibles? Maybe
 
I will bend the rules a bit but never do something illegal that has a possibility of putting me in jail.
 
yea I'm past the whole moral thing and I would certainly be willing to do something unethical but about illegal I will only considerate if I had the bulletproof certainty that I'm not getting caught whether I'd do it or not I take fourth amendment eventhoe I'm not american.
