I bought an domain some time ago related to finance niche. It's completley empty there is no website no backlinks or anything just an message from namecheap that domain is registered and owner builds an cool website for it
So i typed just for fun it into google and wow it was indexed and ranks on first position, Yeah the keyword is not really competitive but still an small surprise.
Looks like i should o something with it.

If your ranking first with no content, then you should be able to continue to rank first with a little content. lol

Slap something on it and see if it earns you some money.

Checked again without quotes there's 4980 results and position is 2
With quotes there's only 48 results but position is first.
I know that competition is almost zero but still funny thing.
This check is done with complete domain keyword but name contains 2 very competitive keywords.

That's not weird.
Weird is that i never touched that domain just bought it and that's all.
It's indexed and ranks without any content and backlinks that is weird.

Are you sure its number 2 and not just google mind game? If I do not clear my cookies and log out of my account then Google shows me in the number 2 spot.

Log out and clear my cookies then.. presto.. im the last spot on page 2.

Ok i think it's only because that namecheap parks domains which are not set up yet.
Got the same results after clearing cookies see yourself are the results same domain is: bankspecialists.com and results are for bankspecialists
