Quick IRC Tutorial

Hello BHWers,
As HaRRo posted yesterday, a new IRC network was started at irc.makecash.org so that we can all chat live. I decided to put together a very rough video and text tutorial to help those unfamiliar with how IRC works to get online and chat with all of us.

Is anyone having trouble with this? I realize that the video isn't very clear thanks to YouTube's awesome compression.

Why my permission is denied? I can not look the video (tutorial) actually as I'm at the office right now and all these computers do not have speakers or headsets. And I'm not familar with irc...

I was able to enter one time, but my computer hang up before; since this I can not enter

Hope i don't bother anybody with this completly noob questions

Instructions:

* Go to mIRC.com
* Download the newest version of mIRC
* Install mIRC
* Run mIRC
* Enter your name, email address, and nickname.
* Add the server irc.makecash.org
* Double-click on the server name after you’ve added it
* Click Connect
* You will automatically join #MakeCash, to join other channels type /join #blackhatzen or /join #blackhatworld

mIRC.com isn't this the center of the virus universe...I remember popping into this light years ago & was amazed at the number of pests that came knocking on my door!

mIRC is the most popular IRC client for Windows. AFAIK, the website itself contains no viruses, though you certainly can become infected with viruses if you download things from other users who are also on an IRC server. mIRC itself is not dangerous though.
