I've never been able to get a site listed in DMOZ. Registered several times but no succes.

Is there a better way then just register to get listed? Does anybode offer a DMOZ service?

you must be kidding right ? do you really think editors from dmoz care about peoples sites ?

back in the day, quite a few editors would take various sorts of bribes.

Nowadays, who knows.

become an editor or volunteer yourself and you can do whatever you want.

But to be truthful, DMOZ links are not that great anymore.

I got listed for one of my sites just by applying. After I got listed I heard all these stories about how hard it is, weird. Maybe I should try for some other sites.

The best way is to become a editor then you can approve your own sites and even setup a nice thread here making a bit of cash for approvals.

best way to get accepted is to request to become an editor in a non popular category. Once this is done, you stand a bigger chance at getting there. And as whatever type of niche your website is - doesnt matter what dmoz category it goes into, you can just accept your own site

is it true that a link from either dmoz or yahoo dir can get u out of sandbox immediately
