Somebodies Hijacked My Blog
I've been a member of BHW for about a month now. and a total Noob, anyway I built my first blog. and have been experimenting with the methods used here.
Today while typing in the url for my blog on my sons laptop, sure enough my blog showed up but it had adsense on it.
In every other way they are exactly the same.
This is way above my head. In one way I am flattered that somebody would think my blog worth ripping off , and on the other hand I'm pissed off
1 Can anybody explain to me how this was done
2 is there anything I can do to remedy the situation
Oh the blog has a .com name. I'm not sure but I think this is only registered recently

Re: Somebodies Hijacked My Blog
Where are you hosted? Change it so your feeds aren't full, this makes a lot of auto bloggers not even bother, then add in self-links, so if they do copy your content, your gaining backlinks from exteneral blogs anyway. It's nothing to worry about, report it to Google, explain what happened, they'll sandbox the website, contact the owner/hosting provider as well.

Re: Somebodies Hijacked My Blog
Well I went to your site http://mywebfreebies.blogspot.com, as I understand it you are saying that someone placed adsense on your blog that you did not. So you are viewing google ads on your blog that you did not place their, I think the people above were interpreting that you content was being stolen.
If this is the case, although I did not see any, they you can report to google, but don't click on them, because if it someone elses adsense that means they are making money every time the ad is clicked. They don't pay to place the ads there, an adsense marketer gets paid by the person placing the ad everytime it gets clicked through google of course, but it still works that way.
Although your blog says that you are an seo, which would surprise me if you did not know this. But regardless you can get this taken care of, let me know if you have any questions.
ciao
