I was very dissappointed about demonoid. I rather liked that site, but since it has gone I have been left with a large vacuous hole in my life.

What new torrent sites do you use?

There is isohunt and the pirate bay.

I was using mininova.org but they have changed as well (heatbreaking)

These are the big boys at the moment - gutted Demonoid's down! It's awesome (was)... My share ratio was ridiculous too! Used to leave it on at the weekends at work on our 1gb data centre connection! lol

Edit: There are some rumors about the site shutting down for good and we starting a new tracker next year. the rumors are of course, lies. There are no plans of shutting down or creating another site.

And there is NO official twitter/facebook/any other web community page for Demonoid. There are a few around that were created by fans and have no link to the site or staff. 
The parts of the site code that got deleted are being rewritten and should be ready soon. We are also working to try and minimise the data loss as much as possible.

A loss of a some months worth of activity including registered users and torrent submissions is to be expected because the backup we are hoping to get back is not up to date, so please be prepared for it

TV piratebay and some dutch private trackers for movies. anything you need is on there.

also try torrent harvester. its a tool that searches a bunch of torrent sites for you and sends you back a list of all available torrents with you keywords in it.

just do a google search and you`ll find a download link, i think its freeware.

Demonoid will be back give it some time same thing happen acouple years ago site went down for alittle bit then came back up i am useing isohunt tell they come back but nothing will compare to demoniod i never downloaded one fake file off demonoid but with isohunt and others it sucks searching for stuff because more then half the files on them are junk

using btjunkie for years, h33t too. there is free program named Bit Che, which search a bunch of torrent sites.

XtremeSpeeds, they have latest films, music and stuff and i get 1mb+ p/s download speeds.
Got some invites if anyone wants one? Pm me but only 100+ post counts and jrvip's will get one as they are fussy who they let in and can screw my account if i get in leachers and not seeders.

i installed BIT CHE couple of days back on xp.but tht bitch crashed my comp.i had to remove it using anothr installation.

you can use torrent.to it has a collection of all the top torrent sites in one.

i like to use isohunt and torrentz is good for searching, ill miss mininova...

I like isohunt, but I also use kickasstorrents because it has a nice clean layout.

I like mininova and piratebay, but always use eztv.it for tv shows.
