I'm looking to start a few ventures and was wondering if anyone on here has experience with LinkedIn. I don't have an account but was consider signing up for one (they reached their 50 million user mark recently).

Looking to use it for networking and business opps.

Your thoughts?

A very powerful platform for business networking IMO.

I've used LinkedIn a lot and will continue to do so - since most of the groups over there are very, very well moderated (you generally won't get accepted to a group unless you have an established profile and there's something in your profile that links you with the topic), it's very easy to reach useful contacts, start JVs, find funding etc.

i use it.... rarely. didn't seem very useful at the time.
