Grr why are Indians on the Filipino job sites?

Hey guys,

So currently I have some staff from the Philippine's who are putting out some great work.

Now I want to hire some people from over there and I've put listings up on all the major Filipino job sites.

But, about 99% of the applicants are from INDIA.

I'm not trying to be raciest here, but it's quite annoying that I get applicants from the wrong country.

What's even worse is they send me all the same CV based on the exact same template. I can post previews up if you like, they all look the same.

I just wish that Indian's would stay country specific job sites.

Does anyone else face the same problems as I do?

From my personal experience, I have found article writers from the Philippines are much better then ones from India. Don't get me wrong, I also hire people from India to do outsourcing, but in this case I wanted someone from the Philippines. Generally Filipino's have better grammar and are generally more fluent in English.

OK, so one thing we should learn from Indians: persistence

Seriously, their English are adequate but don't hire them for article writing. It's way much better if you have them to write scripts or other geeky jobs. Good quality and darn cheap!

in a recently held survey it was found that out of the 183 countries in the world, 180 countries have indians. so if we can go to every place in the world, whats gonna stop us from being on every site on the net? lol

i agree. im an indian too

but i take money only from the affiliate companies.

when i open a job anywhere, i too find that its the indians who are first in the queue. when i interview them they just know nothing, and the quotes they give in the first place are $xxx for a simple wordpress template modification. Then I tell them that I am an indian and i know the reality, and they start telling me that its people like me who are ruining it for the other indians who try to make some decent money on the internet. Without knowing anything about a wordpress theme? Heh. I turn to the filipinos too.

And I have also found americans treating me like the rest of the indians

, and there are americans who have realized my potential and are still employing my geeky skills for their requirements.

I would like to tell everyone out there this. Inida is a country filled with about 1.3 billion people. 40% of them are farmers and illitrates. About 2% are highly intelligent and super rich, and the remaining 58% work for a living, most of them serving the rich countries. 10% of the people use the internet to make money, and about 10% of this 10% do shit like this to make quick money. Tthat is a very small number compared to the population of our country, but is a big number to ruin it for everyone on the internet.

I just want to request all of you not to refer to the whole of India or Indians while pointing out to people like this. People like me who do reasonable straightforward things to make money feel bad. Yes, I do agree that America is god. If there was no internet marketing, or the USD, I see myself as just another Swami misinterpreting the vedas, just like my aunt is doing there in the US, and teaching shit to make easy money like I am doing now. Otherwise maybe I would have ended up in the fields. But this kind of people is in every other country in the same percentage. The Kamasutra made our forefathers fuck a lot, and here we stand. A completely fucked up lot.

it may be possible that you are using a template similar to some other job site which might be putting in a baffle

I agree with TheSlugClub.

But I can guess how annoying it will be to see that most of the replies you get from a Filipino job site are from Indians.

the interview process itself is really tough. i usually ask people to provide some samples. actually reviewing samples is tough too. so i ask only people with relevent skills to apply, they all claim that they specialize only in this particular field, and its tough to filter out the liars. Ultimately, I find that doing a bit of googling and getting the job done for myself

Yes, Many people fakes there skills, That is, I myself hate employing others, because i know that no body will do my work better for me than i can.

Yeah same thing here, I don't know why Indians specially do this but for some reason they do- they accept the job but can't do a damn thing, or their english is really horrible when they try to write something! I have tried to hire 7-8 indians and for some reason it always failed with them but when I try to hire from some another country it's all ok and they do their job as they should!
Seems like there are some Indian-Gang who just wants to do all the Internet jobs

Have patience..
if you are fed up with the indians wait for 2-3 years & there will be a wave of chinese....it will be real fun then...you will get a unique article written for US$ 0.01 !

Well my answer would also be somewhat like this only...but you said the half..

Come on guys...when you go to Gumtree which is for UK people...Don't you think you shd leave the UK guys for there and not make leads...

People go to CL from around the world...shd CL think like this "Why the hell these Europeans and Asians has to do with our site...taking US proxies and fuc*** our site!!"

No..they don't...similarly if you don't want Indians to apply you can reduce the rate of applications just by writing at the last in bold and capital that 'I already have Indians working on this project and rit now in need of Filipino guys.Indians are requested to wait for my next offer but don't apply for this one atm' or something like this.This would have reduced to a great extent!!!
