What type of sites get the best organic traffic?

Not considering promotion, link building...etc., what types of sites does everyone find get them the best organic traffic? Article sites, image sites, movie sites...others?

I'm not concerned with whether it's targeted traffic or traffic that converts well. I'd just like some input as to what types of sites everyone feels gets them the best numbers for organic/search type traffic. Thanks!

For me bob it is usualy a site with the keyword in the domain name. Basic simple SEO, and fresh content.

I know I haven't revealed any golden nuggets but to start with that is what I generally do.

For me porn sites have done quite well ranging form 100 - 10,000 uniques per day. I have never made an adult site that has flopped (pun intended

)

Other than adult sites all of my sites seem to get around 100 uniques per day and my referral sites quite a lot more. I prefer viral marketing, far easier than SEO. Less cash at first but more in the long term and as soon as you have got a decent relationship with your members the traffic starts flooding in.

I've seen some of the tube-clone type scripts around here but have to weigh the costs of keeping it up (no pun intended...bandwidth-costs) versus what it would bring in. Guess I won't know till I try. Are you guys using one of the clone scripts for your movie/adult sites?

Wordpress and blogs in and of itself won't get you traffic. I know they get indexed fast and the spiders love them but I was hoping more for feedback on luck you've had with a broad-niche (subject) of site/blog that, for whatever reason, just tends to get a lot of organic traffic without too much effort in promoting/optimizing it. I'm not looking for anyone to give away the keys to castle with a specific gold-mine niche they've found, just for generalities...porn sites? movie? trends? fashion? music? review sites? how-to's?...etc
