Default How long does it take for backlinks to "register"?

    Hey guys,

I've made a blog, optimized it, and made a link wheel around it, with 10 links pointing back to my blog post.

Not only that but I've posted on Digg to get some backlinks as well.

    I've checked http://www.urlmetrix.com/ and http://www.backlinkwatch.com/
and they both show 0 backlinks for my site.

How long does the process usually take for my backlinks to be "registered"? (I was gunna say indexed, but is that the right terminology?)

    Thanks a lot!

Get UWCS it's the best 50 bucks you'll spend for link building and will provide you with thousands of links in no time. Then move up to XRumer and take charge of google once you've mastered that tool.

Links can take days or weeks there is no absolute answer.
Manual posting for links is tedious and not very rewarding especially when there are now little programs that can get you
1000's of links in a couple of hours.

Your blackhat job is to trample the WH competition and steal the money right out of their hands.
Then leave them wondering how you did that with a new site, when they have been promoting their site for 6 years posting in Digg and writing letters to other webmasters begging for links.

    Automation is the way.

Took my site about 3 weeks for all the backlinks to show and bring me the juice.

Backlinks can register in minutes or somtimes months it depends on a lot of factors.. For example:

    - index rate of link source
    - where google is relative to spidering the web
    - where google is at relative to latent semantic indexing
    - when google last refreshed their index
    - where google is at in synchronizing their databases
    - when backlink site was last indexed

    and many other factors.

Tips to improve backlinks indexing speed:

    - ping backlinks sites using pingler or similar service
    - submit backlinks site to search engines
    - large volumes of links to backlinks site
    - link wheels and similar tactics

haha, i like the way you put it.

But won't it be suspicious to google if a website gets 1000s of links within a day, then it stops?
