One account can have any number of apps. If you're going to be blackhatting, you might want to spread them out a bit though

This can be useful for others how not to get rejected
i am attaching the email i received for my app which was rejected.
my games site is

MySpace Application Submission Denied: xbox party mansion, App ID - 144372
hank you for your submission to the MySpace Open Platform. We review all applications to ensure that they are compliant with our Terms of Use. Unfortunately, your current application does not meet our criteria for the following reason(s):
1. Application Communications: API Communications.
On Canvas Surface, clicking on the "Email This" link prompts the user to enter friends' email addresses. All app communication must be made by OpenSocial APIs and/or the MySpace RESTful APIs.
2. External references.
On Canvas Surface:
(a) clicking on the "Save to Del.icio.us / Digg This!" links frame external sites within the Canvas Surface.
(b) clicking on any image link frames an external site within the Canvas Surface.
Applications cannot frame sites which they do not own (e.g., "www.digg.com / www.yahoo.com" etc).
3. Application Formatting.
Canvas Surface displays random news. Refreshing the surface crops the content from the bottom most of the times (in IE 7).
Please update your app and republish. Note, fixing the issues above will not guarantee approval as we were unable to perform a full review and may uncover additional problems. If you have questions, please refer to our forums or documentation.

Re: Using Myspace Apps to Make Money
@rachusrs: Yes, they will try to click every link in your app. They'll go several pages deep if they can. But the good news: in my experience they only review it once unless it's reported
make your app a little more simple, submit, and once approved, enable your real (full) app, the blackhat way

Hope someone can help me!
Many thanks in advance my friends!

Do you mean you wish to link directly to the app, like "Try this app"?
If so, the code is like so:
Code:
<a href="http://profile.myspace.com/Modules/Applications/Pages/Canvas.aspx?appId=xxxxxx">Check out my app!</a>
Just replace the xxxxxx with your appID, which can be found in the address bar when you view the canvas of your app.

Yup! The guys (and girl) I sold it to were one-on-one marketing through AIM. Longer term relationships I've developed and sold a few things to :P
Lowered it because I don't expect most people to pay that much, especially when I just set up the affiliate entry for it.
Hopefully it all works out!

Don't buy from weaselstomp. I started this thread so that this information could be free, not so people could make a profit from MY idea. I am working on putting together a free guide that will include everything that weasel is offering for a price. I did not list this method so that everyone could make money from it.
I will be listing ALL code that I use for free so that anyone can have it. Don't waste your $37!!

Re: Using Myspace Apps to Make Money
I'm not promoting it here, and it's got a bunch beyond what you've suggested. I'm submitting my scripts and guide to admins for approval in the BST section, I'm not trying to hijack this thread. Mjordan and I just got a little off topic for a moment, sorry. In fact, when I pm'd OsiriX I mentioned that the thread wasn't the place for those kinds of q's.

Re: Using Myspace Apps to Make Money
Sorry if this hurts your sells weaselstomp, but for those of you that are wanting to try this, just know that this WILL NOT make you a fast dollar. Or a good amount for that much. Now if you work hard, very hard, and can some how get a good app that is very popular (10k installs or more) then it will make you decent long term money.
I've had 8 apps up for over a week now and have made $1.10 lol. My apps are fine, I have some that should be very popular but they just aren't getting many views. Unless you have something like the guitar hero app or mobster and stuff like that then I truthfully don't think you'll make that much.
Just my $0.02

Re: Using Myspace Apps to Make Money
OK, i got 2 apps approved and when I created them i chose "inline flash" and uploaded the file.
My question is now, how can I add adsense ads to it? Can I now iframe it to my domain and add the ads there without having to go back through the approval process?
I ask because I had originally iframed the flash app and it was denied.
Or is there another way to add ads to the app without iframing?
Any help is appreciated b/c now i have 2 apps just sitting there.
Thanks
Lumien

Re: Using Myspace Apps to Make Money
@csebastian: not bad, I have published at 24 apps now (took 3-10 minutes each to make), and have close to 60,000 installs total. I've been mixing up what I promote, making my own ads to grab the users attention (making the ad blink seems to work real good!) but the results haven't been bad! I'm also working on creating a "wrapper" to show my ads in the flash game at start, and periodically throughout the game, using the Flash SWF import functionality
Hopefully that will help conversions!

It's an application (like a wordpress widget) within MySpace. Facebook has them too. They're usually surveys, games, or small tools that can be accessed directly from MySpace.

Re: Using Myspace Apps to Make Money
Quick update to this thread. DO NOT USE ADSENSE!! You will get banned and that is not fun. I've tested several different ad networks and have found that LinkFireAds is the best at monetizing this traffic. Plus they pay weekly no matter how much you earn with them. Good Luck!

Why would you get banned for this? How does it violate their TOS? I've had adsense on mine for like half a year, even went through an account inspection and they didn't say anything about it.

Re: Using Myspace Apps to Make Money
You may be fine with adsense, but for me I think it had to do with quality. With adsense if your quality is not top notch (which means ctr and conversions for the advertiser) they will just ban your account, no questions asked. I had a high number of impressions and a low ctr, even by content network standards. I had an issue too with getting adsense to properly target ads to my visitors since there was not really any content to spider. I definitely wasn't doing anything shady or blackhat, and I tried to file an appeal with google to no avail.
My point here is be careful, because an adsense account is a valuable thing to waste. They ban instantly and its nearly impossible to get back in once you're out.

Re: Using Myspace Apps to Make Money
Also, why take a risk with your AdSense account when you don't have to? There are other networks out there that specialize in this sort of traffic and you will get paid better in the long run. I would definitely reserve my adsense account for content sites only.
