Default Getting Around AdWords Ban 101

Hey Guys,

So I just got banned from AdWords about a week ago. I've since read every thread on BHW on getting back into AdWords. So far, the consensus is:

1) Change your name, bank and address
2) Uninstall all Google Apps, including toolbar and AdWords editor
3) Change your IP, don't use proxies unless it's a VPS (no shared proxies)
4) Never log in to any of your past Google services from your new IP (gmail, etc)
5) Use a new credit card. Apparently MasterCard/Amex VCCs are better than Visa VCCs for AdWords bans.
6) Another possibility is to start a new business and get a business CC/name/address

Now, a question for the more experienced guys:

1) Can PayPal credit cards be traced? Can I just use PayPal to generate VCCs? If they can be traced, can I just buy a PayPal account not related to mine and use that to generate VCCs?

2) I'm not too interested in buying $100 VCCs over and over again. Is there a way to get a credit card not in my name that can be refilled over and over again?

Cheers,

- D

P.S. I think Google's a dick.

1) Trademark bidding.

2) My LPs kept getting slapped so I just kept re-uploading them under different domains / accounts.

I wasn't really clear that what I was doing was against the ToS, nor do I feel I was given adequate warning. All my accounts were linked to my MCC and according to the ToS I *am* allowed to have multiple accounts so long as they're linked.

Anyway, the fact is that I'm banned. I've called them 3 times and the account isn't going to get reinstated, so I'm instead focusing on how to get around the ban rather than fight/repeal it.

Hmmm, never realized it was difficult. I have made and had closed over 10 adwords accounts with the same info - even same credit card - never had an issue.

I think they thought I was trying to get around Trademark disapprovals by creating new accounts.

Unfortunately, once you get banned from AdWords there's really no appeal process. I've read a few instances where people have done that, but it's few and far between.

I've asked for a manager, supervisor or member of the "Specialist Team" (that decides bannings,) but was denied all 3 times.

Tried PPV about 10 times, never got it to be profitable.

Yahoo/MSN I'm going to start. But still Google's 60% of the volume.

Same thing happened to me banned for no reason...at least they told you why you were banned. The only thing I got out of them after 15 emails and 4 calls is my account was closed because they have the right to close ANY account for ANY reason...

Im in the same position as you....hope I can figure this out cuz its killing my income!

Wow, really? I can't see how that would leave any traceable trail with a different CC, address, IP, computer, keywords, etc.

Has anyone successfully gotten back in after getting banned?

I am also looking for a way to get another adwords account, I was banned for no proper given reason. I only promoted legit stuff and always stayed inside their terms.

just to add something here - why are you guys going through all the hassle.... - just ask your grandmother, sister, girlfriend, uncle, your kid.... to use their bank account for adwords... - you pay the money and use it...

Since most family members don't have a clue about internet marketing, you should be able to find somebody - just be convincing ;-)....

Well, it's a bit awkward to spend $500 a day on AdWords using their bank account when they only make $2,500 a month ... >_>

Guys,

I tried several times to get back to adwords and was unsuccessful. I'm doing a hell of a lot better with Yahoo and MSN that I can't believe I spent all this time trying to get into adwords.
You won't believe how much potential is yet in these 2.

Good luck .

Unless they look and what name the site is registered in.

Then why not just post it here?

I was suspended, not banned.

Reason: I don't know.

My ads never showed, and I never received any clicks. My CC info was correct, though.

Yay me.
